Only option that I want that is not available on Pro is tow mirrors. In Tx I do not need heated seats. Sunroof would be nice but can live without

I'm sure a lot of people are jealous of your sunroof haha. I had one in my last car and never used it, so that's not too important to me.

I didn't care for it either but it came with it, just find it weird that SR5 Canada is different than SR5 in the states. Same as with the pro.
I bought the SR5 cause I don't need all the gadgets. I do wish I'd came with tow mirrors though.

all toyota's in canada seem to be different than in the states, you guys seem to have options, here we pretty much get what the trim is, my local dealer in Fort Erie Canada, across the bridge in buffalo has a cement trd pro crewmax was $62,000 canadian dollars($46250 USD). Here is a link to what we get:https://www.toyota.ca/toyota/en/build-price/tundra
Due to the low canadian dollar a lot of trucks used are headed to the US, last I had checked, when our dollar was above yours, is that toyota does warrenty american vehicles in canada, I'm not sure about the other way around.

I was between a TRD PRO and a Platinum. Ordered the Pro but was extremely disappointed when the dealer told me I couldn't even pay to add the heated seats to my TRD PRO. When I asked why I can't add them to a truck that was being built from the factory and shipped to the dealership the dealerships response was because they don't offer it. Hoping I'm happy with my decision on the Pro instead of the Platinum. No auto up and down windows, no sunroof, no heated seats, no leather wrapped steering wheel, and a piss poor quality sound system in a 48,000 dollar truck is a little annoying. My wife's 4runner that we bought last year has all that and more and cost 8,000 less. :frusty:

Yes. Tundras are made in San Antonio, TX. My 2016 TSS did not come with heated seats and I'm glad because I live in Houston. However, my wife has a 2016 Lexus RX 350 and it only comes with heated/a/c seats and heated steering wheel. I asked at the dealership, "why?" He said that's how they come to them. Since Lexus is part of Toyota, it must be something decided at the top.

I like pro but wanted the bells and whistles of the limited, so i picked up a cm limited, added the pro suspension and skid plate. Best of both worlds. I must say the pro suspension rides so plush compared to the trd stock setup, like night and day.

I had the dealer install leather seats (katzkin) all around and heated seat coils in the front of my wife's 4Runner. Cost about $2000 to add.

The 4Runner has a SR5 premium. Cheaper than limited and adds leather, heated seats and sunroof. We didn't want the sunroof so that is why we chose to do the katzkins instead.
Tundra should have this option as well for the SR5 guys.
