Owned so many Toyota, I truly cant list them all. I do know I started with a "77" Celica, and ended with my 2016 1794 Edition Tundra, between I owned cars like 1988 or so turbo 4 runner, 93 Supra, Camry's, pickups, corollas along the way. All time favorite was the Supra (except for the insurance) and said to say least of all favorite is my current Pickup. So much so, that after owning Toyota's my entire life, except for an Acura TSX purchased for my son, and an Eclipse for another, I've always bought and preached Toyota exclusively. My wife just sold her Lexus GS 350 and we were either going to purchase a GTR for sale in Boise but, (14 year old still at home, kind of pulled us away from that one) or the car we ended up buying, Infiniti Q50. Which blows the doors off my 2011 GS 350 awd by the way. But nothing compared to the GTR, and the GTR had Much more front interior room than we expected but we stuck with the old family car for just a few more years, but all of this is a whole nother story:)
My new pickup has had multiple issues, poor breaking, my old 2007 tundra would stop on a dime, poor acceleration, interior cheaper, less storage and already squeaks like its been used off road on a logging site or something! also zero power. Yes I've been told and believe me I know, same engine, same displacement, but even my Dealer who has done most the upgrades, level kit, flares, Rims tires, tinting, bed cover, and so on, said, "compared to mine,(same truck, all except flares), this things a real dog"
I'm pretty much through with Toyota's this will be my last one unless they go back to building them like they used to.

Bummer that your new truck is a let-down. Have you taken it in (maybe to a dealer other than the one from which you bought it), to see if it's a lemon or something? Asking because mine guzzles gas, but performs well.

I don't know much about SuperChargers but, maybe that would get yours going--? Sorry. I want to be supportive, but honestly, aside from bitching about poor gas mileage, most of us on this forum are here 'cause we love our trucks. We want to mod them but only to make them even more awesome.

    Anyway, welcome from SoCal!

Welcome from Colorado. Sorry to hear about your issues, but I don’t believe any of us have experienced the issues you have so far. Hopefully you can get it resolved and stay with Yota in the future.

Welcome. Sorry to hear you're not pleased with your new truck. I've been driving Tundra's since '01 and this '16 is my fifth. I do agree that Toyota has deleted some of the amenities and the re-working of the electronics, trac/ stability control and the new power control module, do hinder the performance. But it's still a Tundra and a couple of mods (tune etc.) later and I think I've got my best Tundra yet.

Hmmmm......I too am sorry to hear that you've had such issues. My 2016 is my 3rd. Toyota pickup and like all of them have been, built solid as a rock. I didn't buy it because of great looks, flashy performance or great...even good milage. I bought the truck because it's rock solid and will do the job...any job I ask it to do...and if I'm lucky and treat it well it should go 300k miles just like my last one...without much of a hitch. I considered Chevy, GMC, Ford and Ram, but ultimately, while all of those trucks offer lots more "stuff" than my Tundra, they all fail the durability.......

Like others here I might think about taking it to another dealer at least to check it out...and if you are still that unhappy with it perhaps you should get something else.
