Sorry for being a NOOB.. I have always own Chevy Silverados (5 in all). So I am new to Tundra and there MODS.

I bought my new Tundra last week, actually purchased it right from the flat bed that was delivering it.
As stated above a have a 5.7L 2016 SR5. I am wondering if the engines have changed much from 2015 to 2016? I don't see any parts listed yet for the 2016 models, actually it is pretty slim pickens for 2015 as well. Looking for After Market air filter (K&N or equivalent) and Chip sets (Bully-Dog). Basic stuff for now. Also looking to level the truck by lowering the back, not sure where to start for that.

Just changed out the stock rims for after market ones. Man, what a difference it made in the look of the truck. Got the side steps coming this week along with tinting the windows.. Can't wait, she is going to look awesome.. :)

    Thx,

Saw that thread, It is not specific though (possible MODS). I was looking more specific to a 2016.

The possibilites look endless though. :)

Welcome to the site! Post some pics when you get a minute. I'd like to see the integrated trailer brake controller (if it has one). Also, there is no difference in the motor between 2015 and 2016. Same ole powertrain.

    ^^ this.
Just an option for a larger fuel tank and tow brake controller.

    I have the 38 gallon tank :0
Here is a pic of the trailer brake. It was dark out so the picture is not the best

Welcome from CO. As usual Toyota finally figured out that a trailer brake was actually useful after 9 yrs of Tundra production.

Welcome and congrats. Larger gas tank and brake controller are two 'big' upgrades with 16s. Powertrain is essentially unchanged since 2007 model and pretty much bullet proof.
