2016 pro anytime fog light mod?

Has anyone done this mod? can someone tell me if its the same as 2014/15

 

First there are several write ups here about this mod. None of them seem to be as simple as the one I did to my 13 Tacoma.

Does anyone know why you can't mod for anytime fogs as I did with my Taco. With that, I did the mod where you pull the relay for the fogs. Bend up the terminal that goes to the low beam power and run a wire to an ignition switched power source. This mod allowed the fogs to be turned on regardless of headlights on or off, high or low beam. But shut them off when the truck is off.

 

I did it on my 07 and my son did his 14 just wondering if its the same

 

I already have DRLs and I hate them.
