2016/2017 Recall for Rear Bumper Bracket

    From what ive been reading this recall affects the tundras with the sonar sensors.

    I have the chrome bumper without the sensors and its not recalled.

    Yip, I am in the mix too...
    Been driving Tundras now for nearly 10 years, I do not think I ever one time stepped up on the bumper?. I either jump into the bed (tailgate down!) or I got my foot on the wheel spokes.....mind you, never backed into anything either...sonar, mirrors and the ole trusty eyeball.......just sayin

    When I purchased from my local dealer they did a dealer trade from Kokomo, IN and made sure the truck was not on a stop sale notice.
    We picked up a 2017 Barcelona Red CM last Sunday.
