Hi Guys! I have a 2015 Tundra 1794 with 70k kms... 44k miles... in need of new brakes and rotors... should I plan on replacing the calipers as well? I havent taken it apart yet, but do they have a history of seizing like the Fords Super Duty do? The truck has always been on the westcoast...

    Thx in advance

You shouldn’t need to replace the calipers .

    They do ?

I just did power stops the higher end ones from rock auto with rebate and discount code at 45k too. LEAPS AND BOUNDS better than factory pads and rotors in my opinion.

When you say they do? I gather you mean the Fors Super Duty? My wife hasna 2008 F250 6.4l and we have to replace the calipers everytime. Known issue with them. We didnt replace them last time and two of the calipers seized not long after.

Thank you for the lead regarding the Tundras replacements brakes and rotors... I'll definitely check them out.

    Cheers and thank you!

I haven’t heard of the tundra calipers seizing up. Good luck with the brakes.

Parts are on the way! I warped the stock rotors driving it a bit too hard. I traded my 08 Audi S4 for this 15 Tundra... and still thought I was driving the S4 lol
