2015 Toyota Tundra TRD Offroad build

TRD Pro grill and hood bulge or black out stock grill insert and color match the chrome????

Thoughts anyone????

 

I think it would look sweet with color matched pro grill and hood bulge

 

TRD Pro... just like the Toyota vs the logo... plus I also has the same thing

 

I did the color match and just went the cheaper route and painted the stock grille insert. Mainly to get rid of the chrome! Also I feel like everyone and their mother has the TRDPRO grille and yes rightly so cuz it looks badass! But I personally wanted to do something different. Here's a pic of my grille painted satin black for others reference.

 

Yea dude I'm feeling the same. Pro is badass but everyone is doing it.

Yours looks really good! Probably will go that route. Haven't decided on a bumper yet so the corners may stay chrome for now.

How many Vegas Tundra dudes have added a Pro grill?? Let me hear!!

@Cfincke it ride really nice on the street but on the trail they are awesome!! Removed sway bar as well and that helps a lot

haha @Tacogeuse good luck with slowing down. I've pretty much have the main shit I want after this weekends trip to SDHQ for sliders so I hope to slow down as well.

Nice! I was thinking, if it were me, I would put them on as soon as I got home. I knew you weren't gonna be able to wait 'til next week.

 

They look great! How long did it take for install by yourself? Its a question we get often, we love to hear the feedback.

 

@sdhq_offroad about 3 hours. Those upper mounts, the round ones, were caked with powder coat in the threads so I had to remove them once I started tightening everything and clean the threads out. I would also say put a nut on the backside of the upper mounts. Other than that pretty easy! Quality sliders!

 

The threads are tapped after powder coat just to clean them out. I'll make sure to mention it to the guys. Thanks for the feedback Randy!

Chrome corners are at powdercoat! Too many little bolts and fasteners in these bumpers!!

How much of a pain was it to get the bumper corners off?

 

@Dustydirt19 it's not bad. Just start taking bolts and clips off. The plastic center and corners come off as one piece.

 

How bout the rear? Or haven't you gotten that far yet
