I know lots of people make the swap, but I finally decided to finish the de-chrome up front too.......

I would definitely buy both front and rear bumpers, those have more clearance than all aftermarket bumpers currently out in my opinion. Badass build!

Damn you have made this Tundra yours. Totally bad ass. Nice fab work. One that does fab work can understand the time and effort put into this.

Thanks Chris, that means a lot coming from a fellow fabricator/mod master/out of our mind type of guy. ;). I can't take credit for 100% of my truck, but try to stretch my skills out as far as possible. Thanks again for the kind words.......

Loaded the truck with my tools and ran down to my work to use the parking lot and workbench.

Got the bumper LED b-ups installed. Need to wire up still.

Fabbed up an overhead piece that welds into the upper bed-cage to hold some LED's. The outer ambers will be turn signal and the center a 3rd brake light. Looks kinda funky right now, but needs the fiberglass work on the safari top finished off and the cage powder coated the same gray as the wheels. Been working lots of hours, so progress is slow. Enjoying every minute of my mods though.

If I could do this for a living and make money at it I would. :) I spend hours designing, and re-designing things in my head, then proceed. Sometimes after I proceed I tear it apart again and start over. That's the part that tells me I couldn't make a living at this. It is my passion though.......

Got some gray paint to match the wheels and did a little paint work this weekend on the bed cage structure. Being that my truck is going on the market soon, I elected to spray paint the upper and lower bed cage. Someone may want to add more tubes for spare tire mounting, rotopax cans or bring the shocks through bed and tie into the structure. Powder coating didn't make sense to me, being you would have to grind off and start all over again. Here's a few pics with the charcoal gray on the bed structure.

Awesome fab work Lenny! You have some skills. Love the bumpers and the high clearance. Definitely something i want to do in the future.

Thanks Stefen. My wife and I are in the market for a new and larger RV. Still undecided on motorhome and another vehicle for DD or a larger trailer and diesel tow truck. No matter what, my vehicles never stay stock ! Mods will follow.
