2014+ Black Bi-LED Headlights anyone?

Are the harnesses factory parts or aftermarket items?

 

It is an aftermarket harness made by Morimoto. They make some nice stuff, and this harness is no exception.

 

Glad someone else noticed this, thought this price was high. Wouldn't be horrible if the adapter was included.

 

Do you sell just the harness? My wife works at a Toyota dealership so that's my best route for OEM parts.

I honestly wish I would have come across this company first before purchasing my headlights which I got from Retrofitsource. I did however purchase a complete interior and exterior LED kit from this company I have no complaints about them at all. Chris and the rest of the staff are awesome with work with. I have installed the interior and exterior (minus the headlight LED turn signal) without issues. Their videos and instructions are top-notch and they made sure they put all effort into producing/selling quality products. Will be purchasing again from the company soon for my wifes 4Runner.

For a 2015 SR5 with the amber DTRL and the 2018 LED lights, what will i need and how much will it cost for everything. Is there any additional wires i have to run to the interior or is this all plug and play to the factory lights? Thank you.

 

Hey There! For your Tundy, you'll need the following:

-Bi-LED Housings
-x2 Conversion harnesses
-x1 DRL harness

and you're good to go! They are all Plug and Play making for an easy install.

All said and done, you're looking at $889.00 USD + Shipping. There is an option to add the optional GTR Lighting LED Turn Signals and LED Side Markers, which will vary cost. With all LED options added, you are looking at $998.00 + Shipping.

Working on putting my package with ya. Got a couple questions: Why do some harnesses utilize a Morimoto Motocontrol and yours doesn't ? Do your GTR LED turn signals have built in resistors and are there any heat issues? Thanks for your time, don't know how many hours I've spent researching this whole process. Oh, your videos are GREAT for the Tundra headlights.

 

I just watched one of your videos comparing the 2018 and 19 headlight and I want the 2019 headlight but don’t see it on your site. Are you selling them?

OP- I've got a 2019 SR5 with halogen headlights and some kind of DRL. What is needed to swap to the OEM 2019 LED headlights?

 

We are indeed! We actually have a shipment on the way as we speak.

 

For your Tundra, do you have the White DRL strip, or is your Turn Signal your DRL?

If you have the DRL strip, you will only need the Conversion Harness.

If you do not have the DRL strip, you will need Both the DRL & Conversion Harnesses.

The key is, does your existing headlight have LED DRL, not just DRL. Ask me how I know. The HR video never mentions LED DRL, only if you have DRL. If you only have DRL, but not LED DRL, you need their additional harness.

 

Installed the new black headlights and used an HR harness set. Excellent quality and easy to do. Happy..

@Headlight Revolution what led bulbs you guys use for side markers and turn signals?

 

We use the GTR Lighting LEDs for those applications, they are rather incredible!

 

The Black housings look way too cool...

 

Great pic @dandailey. Those are the 2018 TRD smoked (black) chrome headlights, correct? Also, I see that you still have your amber DRL: Is that the default on the HR harness set?

 

Thanks. They are the black Pro headlights and yes on SR5's the amber is the default. You would have to do additional wiring to delete the ambers. I like them just this way. They dim when headlights are on.
