Just noticed the title doesn't say "Sold Out" anymore... Still room in the round 2 group buy? I would love to get on one of these!

I changed the title after the thread became the general FRAC discussion thread. The first round sold out and I am adding names to the list for round 2. Your name is now on it! It'll be around late August before round 2 orders can begin. I'm designing FRACv2 for better manufacturing efficiency.

Did the installers have any comments? What did they end up charging you? Upload some pics of your cam setup and parking!

@TundraTex the installers loved it and were very impressed how well it was made .They were could not get over how simple it was to plug and play. They charged me $150 to install it.i had them put in a pop and lock and backup sensors as well ! Love the lock on the tailgate !

Great to hear. Thanks for passing that on! I think the Pop and lock is on my near-term mod list as well... that is after I get the FRACv2 design finished.

How about you make a quieter version of the pop and lock

    Too many to list
Use dynamate or similar product inside the tailgate and that would solve the problem.

Nope, I can't say if it makes it quieter or not though because I haven't heard one with no Dynamat, but it's still loud with it.

@TundraTex The installers were impressed with the pop & lock for its strength and quality and I had them install dynamate . The installer did a test (put the whole tailgate back together )to get a baseline on the sound w/o the matting. You can hear it but its not bad at all.

Do you have a picture of how the dynamat was used/placed and where did you buy the mat from?

I had the matting installed by audio central with the lock . I will have to open up the tailgate and take a pic.

I just want to see the placement of it so that when I install my pop & lock I see what to do. Thank you

Got my harness installed last night. works perfectly. Thank you @TundraTex . Had to put the VIM switch on the left of the steering wheel, the excess red/black wire we cut off in the beginning was the perfect length to extend it with. Which was lucky because my wire spool was empty.

@CarlitosWay check YouTube and there are videos showing square pieces put in through holes when you remove the plate on the gate . I have to check now LOL

@CarlitosWay here you go. Noticed how they wrap the matting around the actuator arm the tech must've noticed it making noise. Nice install.

Thank you very much for these images. They are going to be so helpful when I do my install. It's getting done here in the near future.
