I have a switch pros and don’t need the switch panel.. can I just buy the light bar?

 

I'm afraid we cannot separate the Switch Panel from the Light Bar, I've asked before and was shot down right away.

Is there anyway that a video could be added that shows the view from inside the cab with the light bar off and then on, so that I can tell just how much light I could expect from this thing? I watched some of the install videos but haven't seen much of the operational lights. Thank you

 

I need some technical support. I just finished the install of the light bar on a 2018 Tundra with DRL lights. Everything seems to work fine, except the OEM DLR lights. The issue is that the OEM DRL lights are not coming on when the switch is on auto. Also, the light bar will not come full on when the setting for the car is on auto lights. The light bar only comes full on when the light are turned on manually and then I put it on high beam. Is this normal? Can you please help me?

 

Oh boy. That could be a deal breaker for me, if that is normal operation. I always use Auto and would hate to have to manually turn the lights on and off. Hope there is an answer for you.

 

Are you doing this with your parking brake set. That has some affect on when your DRL come on. Do some testing with it not set.
The full light bar will only come on when light switch is set to on, light bar switch on and High beams on. This is how it is supposed to work.

 

This is completely normal my man, that is a Saftey feature implimented by NSV. It can be a bit annoying, but as Uncle Ben said: "With great power comes Great responsibility."

 

So the headlight DRL will no longer function when the headlights are turned to auto? I would have figured that would still function just as it had prior to the install of the lightbar.

 

Marking this to watch what is said. I am close to buying one of these bars, but not sure if it has impacts to my current oem drl or auto light functions.

 

I’m glad I saw this before going in on the group buy. I’m out until they fix it to run with auto headlights.

 

The OEM DRLs on the headlight work as normal with the NSV DRL if the install/Pinning is done as the video shows.

I was also going to buy the NVS bar today, just doing a another scan of forums to see if there are any issues.

I had no idea this is how this bar was setup. I thought with all the switches, we could switch the bar on and off as needed and have the rest of the truck lighting function as "OEM"

I really don't like the way it's setup then if you have to switch this and that on just to get the bar to function and now there is a used with non functioning DRL.
