We are having problems with our 08 Tundra SR5 4.7L. It acts like it's starving for air sometimes. It won't go in high or passin gear, then all of a sudden, it will kick in & run fine. All the lights are on in the dash, whether it's working right or not. Any suggestions?

Sounds like the infamous AIP(air injection pumps) had mine replaced under there warranty. It's not a recall, but it's been a major problem with 2nd generation. Supposedly there going up to 150k on mileage, and will replace them. If for some reason they(Toyota) doesn't, there is a bypass kit that will fix it at a reasonable cost. Good luck and let me know if I can help.

We did the bypass, but that didn't fix it.

Have you talked to dealership you bought it from? Worth a shot

No, I didn't buy it new. I bought it in Sept 2012 from a Ford dealership. I read that Toyota extended the recall warranty on this problem to 10 years or 150,000 miles & it has 238,000 miles on it. I was supposed to get a certified letter from Toyota about the recall, but I didn't get it.
