Any of these will work. All the ec002 systems are the same except for the remotes and push buttons. Hope this answers the question. I believe that the link is also in the earlier threads too.

I am getting a high speed vibration on my Tree when I get to 80 mph. I have replaced the following parts with no success. (Tie rods inner & Outer - Rack and Pinion - Brakes - Calipers - Rims and Tires - Shocks - Springs)

The vibration is worse on the passenger side of the car. I have jacked it up and looked at it but don't see anything that would be causing this. My next step is to replace the upper and lower ball joints plus the wheel bearings.

Any thoughts on what could cause this would be helpful.

He has a platinum. You can adjust the sensor in the rear to get a lift.

The sensor will get you 2 inches maybe 2.5 - Once you do that the ride quality goes to shit because your airbags are fully inflated. I am looking to add a 1-inch shock extender and an airbag spacer to get my ride quality back. In doing this I want to upgrade my rear shocks as well. I am looking at the bilsteins 5100 since this is what I have in the front.

If anyone else has swapped out their rear shocks on a lifted Sequoia please let me know which brand you went with and why.

Yep, I’m running the stock suspension. I’ve never had any issues to warrant me looking into other options.

Hey. You can definitely change just the mirror covers, but the dealer is right about not having any pearl white ones. Also, our pearl white is different than the new pearl. Ours is called Arctic frost pearl and the new color (like war's wife) is called blizzard pearl. At any rate, you have 2 options. Paint or vinyl wrap. For the time being, I chose the later and will eventually have my mirrors and grill painted to match. The color I used was this. It is some of the easiest vinyl that I have used to wrap with. The color is off slightly, but overall it looks pretty good. My grill, mirrors, and rear plate are wrapped with it. Hope this helps..

    No worr
No worries, if you are going to paint, you may as well just paint the chrome to save some money. Also, pearl is very hard to get right. It’s a 3 part process from what I understand. That’s why I went with the wrap. Post back with your results! I’m interested:)

painting over paint (not chrome) easier. Or, I've had good luck with the "Spray Max" custom blended paint & clear coat finish on ebay ~ $50 for the two cans. Prep work matters, but easy. 800grit 1000grit, 1500grit & 2000 for the clearcoat if you wish. You need a n-95 respirator which may be hard to get now.

I've done my Tacoma fuel door replacement, a BMW spoiler, and a Replacement Sequoia grill for a fraction of what body shop wanted.

Rx350 retrofitted, Morimoto Led fogs. interior and exterior leds swap. TRD drop in filter. Carbon filter delete. Led DRL panels. TRD Shift knob.
Insert are double sided taped. Clean inside real good. I recommend doing when it's hot out. It will stick so much better
I did it when it was like 30 degree out and well, one of the letter started to lift off. Had to use a heat gun to get it to stick back down.
Use alcohol wipe if you have them, it should come with your lettering. Clean, wipe, dry, stick. Done.
I got mine from these people:
    https://www.bdtrims.com/Rear-Door-Plastic-Letters-Inserts-for-2008-2019-Toyota-Sequoia-Models

Got the domed or raised version. Dont like the flat one.

Im was a first timer too. Far away look good but up closed, not great. Air bubble and tear, split here and there.
I got the vinyl from Amazon where @Beau had posted link. Soap and water, heat gun or hair dryer.
Then i watched some youtube vids about vinyl wrap taillight and went for it.

Yes, I detailed it in an earlier post I believe but essentially I wrapped the frame in matte black and insert in pearl white. The actual "sequoia" letters are the third piece to the puzzle and are the ABS plastic ones from Amazon. This piece is definitely one of my favorite looking mods on the truck, it really stands out and makes the truck look newer.

Question, did your original have the buttons and knobs on the side of the stereo? And the new unit replaced all that? And wiring in the wires less charger, did that go into the back of the cigarette lighter plug in?

thanks for the post, I just got an 08 platinum as well.

Welcome! First off, if you are thinking about doing the radio...do it! It was the best mod I've done to date. Yes, my original stereo was the stock JBL unit with the knobs and buttons on the sides. This unit and the additional hardware replaced it. You will need the dash kit and Maestro unit to make it just about plug and play. I had Best Buy do it since it was free install. The wireless charger is just using a cig outlet that I disconnected and tucked behind the panel. I believe that is detailed in one of the earlier pages of this thread. Hope this helps!

Finally got a chance to strip the weathered pinstripe. The Rhino in the background has taken both my free time for repairs and leisure. At any rate, thanks to @TheBeast for recommending the whizzy wheel. For those that haven't used one of these decal erasers, they work well but can cause some issues. I burnt through some of the clear in one spot, so be careful with the speed! Overall, I think that it looks WAY better and I am glad that I did it.
