2007 tow mirror on 1st gen

    I think the worst part (from what I've read and seen pics of) is trying to get a good seal that doesn't create excess wind noise that'll drive you nuts or let water into places it shouldn't be, which is probably more of a problem in the rust belt than anywhere.

    I installed Dodge mirrors, cut a rubber gasket, drilled the holes bigger, and then used silicone. I think my biggest issue is the mirror vibrates quite a lot, but it's probably because I used cheap aftermarket mirrors.

    LED Lights Galore. Mostly Stock
    I have the factory Ram mirrors (non-towing), but they are the standard mirror. I like that the mirror glass is more square and bigger than our little stock mirrors. I too am concerned about fit and finish. They have heat and turn signals built into them, so I will have to see if I can get those features to work on my Tundra. Might be a good winter weather-in garage project.
