yeah And LT requires bed sides along with other things, but for MT guys who want to do it all, as long as we can get the clearance for the 3" leafs to work on MT this kit is a perfect option!

If I can get some Legend IIs to fit, I'll do that. But that's not for a bit.

I agree on not half-assing it, but why can't the shocks remain located at the stock location with SUA and strapped? I thought the reason for the axle-side shock location change is to accommodate passing through the wheel well to the bed cage and a longer bypass.

That why we stayed MT also. Where are you located? We moved to Ohio from AZ and the trails are certainly narrower here.

when i was converting to SUA, there is not enough room for a SUA axle leaf mount and the u bolts to squeeze in next to the stock shock mounts.

I looked that up and was thinking the same thing.

Now I gotta start thinking about the whole rear end setup. I am about to get left in the dust with all your LT setups.

We would never leave you behind on a trail and don't mind waiting Scott. Regardless, a leaf spring upgrade won't hurt.

Looks like there should be plenty of room. 3" leafs are only 0.375" wider per side

You would have to cycle it and check for clearance. Some of the SUA kits, like TC and MCM, that keep the shock under the bed do use similar lower mounting point on the axle as oem, but I believe both of them change the mounts a little because of interference.

Kevin, the reason for relocating the lower shock mount on a full LT SUA conversion is for two reasons:

    1. To help reduce axle wrap. The spring pressure from the shock resists axle twist.
    2. To maintain as close to a true 1:1 shock leverage ratio as possible. The axle moves in an arc and you want to position the lower mount a little in front of the axle to mitigate as much of the arc as you can.

Absolutely correct Alex, and yes there should be room, but on the SOA setup we need to check for guys running the 2.5 triple bypasses. But all signs point to shouldnt be an issue.

especially need to check the guys running 2.5 bypasses that tend to rotate and interfere and blow up on the trail ...
