Also, I'm wondering if the firestone ride rite would work? I imagine the supplied brackets would have to be widened for the 3" width of the springs.

I need to load up my truck with full gear and get it weighed as the first step. After that is a conversation with Jeff about building the 3" leaf springs for MT.

With needing to tow every 3-4 days and going off road about 1 time a month I feel like the MT SOA 3IN kit is what I need i feel like SUA would take away from my towability.

I've had the OME leafs on for about 20 months and they are already arching.

I'm already running the RXT rear icon shocks and i have the extended brake lines.

FOR ALL THOSE INTERESTED IN MT SOA

    Please do the following

Load your trucks with full camping gear, and get your truck weighed. Then send me the weights.

    I need the following

    Total Weight
    Front Axle Weight
    Rear Axles weight

if you tow don't worry about that part. I need full truck weight fo figure out with Dever the avg across the board so we can spec the spring.

are you just doing this for towing, or do you also offroad and camp...

if you just tow with it, ill assume a 6-800lb tongue weight?

Bruce his weight is skewed a little because he is a regular cab.

Dirk with that kind if weight on your rear axle, I wouldnt worry about 3" leafs

Will there be something similar to the I96HD that LSK offers?

Never mind. Stupid question. Bags would be better.

well the whole point of the V420 3" wide packs is to carry more weight. They are a step up from the I96HD packs

it should be clear that LSK has nothing to do with i96 packs, those are a Deaver product. Just like the v420's

Right. I thought the I96HD was an LSK exclusive since they aren't offered anywhere else. I'm probably wrong though.

Good news. I can still carry a pallet of topsoil then.

Correct they are not LSK exclusive. You can order them from Deaver, not to mention Deaver also do a i96XHD as well as custom configs of the i96.

I am not allowed to spend money on the truck for a while. :(
3" MT SOA would be nice, stock leafs flatten out when towing camper with a 600-700lb tongue weight. Also have sliders. 46 gallon LRA tank, full size spare and a tonneau cover that are not helping. Following for future updates

I was only thinking about it for towing and hauling on-road and not so much for trail use. I'm trying to keep this truck relatively light. I'm leaning towards getting a 250/2500 whenever the Tundra is at the end of life.

I'll get this done this week. I'm going with a vagabond nomad, I have a rear winch, expo bumper, 37" spare on the rear bumper and a 46 gallon tank with a skid. My truck is a fatty fat fat. I suspect I'm around 8600 loaded. We shall see!
