2007 02 sensor and codes

    2007 tundra sr5 trd
    The check engine light come on, the code p0138, I ordered a Denso Oxygen sensor 234-4260 and put it in. Now I get code p0136. So i put the old sensor back in, now it is giving me the code p0136. Can anyone help me out?

    Hold the Line! If you are not holding the line, abandon your ship. Destruction is inevitable without more to hold the line!
    My guess is the ECM was "use to" seeing the incorrect results from the defective oxygen sensor, so when it started getting the correct input, it "thought this must be wrong". I would put the new sensor back on, disconnect the battery to reset the ECM, then see if it comes back.
