So when I got my truck the regular halogen fog lights works, now I had switch to LED bulbs for the fogs and it won't work, tried switching back to halogen now this won't work,,, not sure whats going on but now when I turn on the fog light from the factory switch, the high beams come on. Now I checked all the fuses. There's power it all. But when I checked for power at the fog light insert there is no power. Now I did check most of the wiring but before I start slicing or adding in more wires, I'd want it to work with the factory switch. Any suggestions what might be wrong?

You need headlight resistors in line with your leds.

I have these. They are plug, and play. I used jbweld steelstik to mount them to my engine bay wall near the headlight. No drilling or screws.

Some claim that you only need one resistor. I used both because I never saw a definitive "Yes" from others. They are cheap, but I've had mine two years now.

Seems the 2005-06 usually has troubles with LED bulbs.

Sometimes its the brand. Sometimes its the year of truck. Sometimes its both. Call your bulb company and ask what is the remedy.
