It's actually a fairly common problem, you need resistors. Post I found

    Hi Haze134,
you need to buy a resistors for balance the loads in the circuit and can work the relay of the fog lights.

You can find this on ebay for 15.95usd

Are you saying that the fog light switch turns the high beams on or that the fog lights just don't work with the high beams but work fine with the lows? If it's the latter then that is perfectly normal. Factory fog lights only work with the low beams and shut off with the highs.

There is a simple "Anytime Fog Lights" wire mod on the 2nd and 3rd Gens, don't know about the 1st Gens.

Fog light switch on Stalk on High beam head lights only, if I have head lights on low beam for instance, and I turn on fog switch it brings in high beam head lights only, nothing else
    Thanks in Advance, vt
