I'm going to see the truck either today or tomorrow. I called the guy today and he was knocking out the small dents and getting ready for paint. I'll post pics.

As of today, here's my Tundra before primer. The hood was so pitted with rock chips, they had to sand it down to the metal. Everything you see that is chrome will be color matched just like the Limited, but the side mirrors will be trim black. I'm thinking maybe I should get them Line X. I don't know; I'll make my decision once I see it. I'm also getting the rear bumper plastic in Line X; I think it'll look nice in black since they're dark gray or sun damaged.
I don't expect to receive my truck for another 1 1/2 to 2 weeks.

Well your build inspired me and I got the shell today, paid $800 and had to drive an hour. It’s a perfect fit and color match

I’ll take some better pics later today when I hit red rock.

She’s a little dirty, best investment yet. Love the dry storage. No more random stuff in the back seat

Oh, that's nice!!! Congrats. Man, I love that color.
The storage is a huge plus and some many things you can do back there. Overland in or on top of the shell. Toss dogs or kids back there. I think you'll be happy.

Yeah, I can finally carry around random stuff that was an issue before. I have a plastic storage box with some extra oil, coolant, rope, work boots in it.

Love not having to tie stuff down. Drove from LA to Vegas and I think I even got better gas mileage because I’m more Aerodynamic

working on getting a sleeping platform and a draw system built. The warehouse next door to my office makes kitchen cabinets and the one next to them does Upholstery.

That'll be nice. A custom platform. I really need to put some TLC on mine. Some of the wood needs to be replaced.

Are you in Wilmington, CA by any chance?

I finally got her back from paint but not she's 100%.

    To do list:
    • Window Tint
    • Wheels to powder coat (Gloss Black and going in on Friday)
    • Wiring of the back up cam and rear dash-cam
    • Frame touch up paint (Black Semi-Gloss)
    • Color match rear bumper

The guy is coming to my warehouse Sunday. He works for Ceramic Pros Burbank and has his own detail business on the side. He works mostly on Luxury cars and is crazy OCD so I trust him fully.

I think I need to wait for my paint to 100% cure before putting a ceramic coat on. How did your truck come out?

I think the truck came out great. Should have done it years ago. The truck fells and looks like I just got it painted. The best part is that the paint is protected so water just beads off.

And yes I think your paint needs to cure first

I finally got my wheels back from powder coat. If you live in the SO CAL area, hit up Embee Proformance (http://www.embeeperformance.com/) for your powder coat needs. They did an awesome job.

Thank you!!! Washed the truck today (hit it with the foam cannon and power washer, no scrubbing). Easiest car wash ever. Dried the truck in like 4 mins.

The antenna works fine, no issues with it. Had good reviews on Amazon.

AntennaMastsRus - The Original 6 3/4 Inch Antenna fits Toyota Tundra (2000-2020) - USA Stainless Steel Threading - Car Wash Proof - Internal Copper Coil - Premium Reception

I do no use the radio much because I listen to podcast or Spotify when I’m driving.

im just missing the rubber trim around it that goes on the base. Ordered it from the dealer, mine was shot.

let’s definitely link,I’ll be at a Toyota meet tonight in the OC, meets once a month.
