Upgrading some of the bulbs to LEDs. No headlights or blinkers.

I've glanced around and can't seem to find a DEFINITE answer if I need CANbus LEDs or non-CANbus LEDs.

3 places say I have CANbus:
    http://www.auterraweb.com/aboutcan.html

    http://scantoolcenter.com/obd2-basic/which-obd-2-protocol-is-supported-by-your-vehicle/

    http://www.obdii.com/connector.html

I have these pins in my DLC:
    4 Chassis ground
    5 Signal ground
    6 CANH
    7 SIL
    11 Airbag
    12 TS
    13 TC
    14 CANL
    15 WHSE
    16 B+

When I turn the ignition key to ON, the only lights lit during the "light test" mode are:
    Tire
    Airbag
    Check engine
    Seatbelt
    ABS
    Maint reqd
    Battery

I'm guessing since I have no true Driver Information Center, nor any indicators that I have a "bulb out" that I can use non-CANbus LEDs.

    Thanks in advance...........

I added this info for the next poor soul who may be looking for this answer.

No CANBUS issues with LED's in Dash, ceiling, reverse, DRL, or door lighting on my '05 double cab.
