First modify on my new..."used" truck has to be the lenses on the headlights. We've been there (1st gens) ....so cloudy my flashlights are brighter. Anyone know of a "brighter" light I can go to or a "retrofit" that would work and produce a "brighter" light path? Any help is appreciated! Thanks

Option 1. Restore headlights or buy new headlights and switch to HIDs
Option 2. Buy new ones and ask user on here "eldobleu" if he can retrofit some 1st gens, he does a bunch of 3rd gen ones so I'm pretty sure he wouldn't mind doing the same on a 1st gen but I could be wrong. IMO that would be your best bet as the projectors definitely put out more light.

Either way I would restore em for now, a kit only costs about $8-12 and works well for a few months.

Thanks Mike. I was wondering before I go into "search mode" if it was even possible to switch them out. With this truck being a 2003.... Sometimes there are things that are just not available or would need to be "revamped", rebuilt, etc... Will look into buying the new headlights and switch to HID's. Pretty sure I will have to buy all the harnesses, ballasts ....ect. But I'm ok with that.....I want them to work the first time. Thanks again!

2" coil spacer and add a leaf. Bilstein 5100 shocks on the rear. Future plans: replacing shocks and coil spacers up front to Bilstein 5100 adjustable height up to 2".
Don't buy non oem headlight housing. The reflectors cause my LEDs to be spotted.
