Thanks for the install link! I still have the factory radio with dimpled mounting brackets, radio hasn't come in yet. I have a self powered "under the seat" sub just to fill out the sound. will have to see where it fits and post pictures.

    Guys,

Shipped the "brick radio" back to the owner today, cost me $6 because he was too cheap to send a return label, a real winner this guy, anyways that nightmare is over now, moving on with other projects.....

    Upshot Knothole,

I basically installed the Alpine radio, lots and lots of connections!, used the factory radio side brackets, and used a muffler tool to just grind the dimples down, trial and error modifying the factory bracket got it just right but there still are some gaps on the edges. the satellite antenna fit on a ledge tab under the dashboard behind the radio almost as if it was designed for it, with a plastic dash board it should work fine there. I still have to install the under seat sub and wire the reverse camera. Ran out of daylight so another day to do that stuff. Sounds OK with the factory speakers but I have infinity speakers for the front to install. Took out an extra cigarette lighter and put a data through USB kit that fits in a 25mm hole, now I can use car play, google maps with my cell phone and the new Alpine + charge the phone as well.
