2001 Tundra AC SR5 V8 Part-Out!

I was somehow not following the crack head resurrection... don't know how I managed to finger fuck that one.

After that, you quit getting notified about new posts on that thread. Still get "liked post" alerts.

 

Watched thread alerts haven't always come through for me, best way to keep track of posts in a thread you don't visit often is to add email notifications to that thread only. Click on your "watched threads" tab, check the box of the thread you want to receive email alerts for then scroll to the bottom of that page where you will see a small drop down menu to change watched thread preferences.

 

Is the steering wheel available? Will it fit 2000 AC? What condition? Mine has a tear and the padded part is mushy

Are control arms available??? Shot in the dark…

 

They are, but for what I’d have to charge to get them off, plus ship them, plus you needing to replace the bushings, you’re way better off buying new arms from rock auto or Napa.

 

How about the weatherstrips that seal the window when it’s fully raised?

Not sure if this thread is dead but is the charcoal canister cover plate (shield looking thing) available?

 

Don’t think the 01 had those. I think the charcoal canister was under the hood. 2000 was for sure

 

Not sure what you’re referring to, don’t think an 01 had it. In any case, the intake components are all gone.

 

Ah copy that thank you. 05 that I have is next to gas tank on right side under the bed.

 

Are the rubber headlight bulb cover/boot still available?

 

maybe i missed it but if you still have the driver seat bottom cushion, what conditioni is it in? Is it the split bench or buckets?

Do you still have the Air Control Valve? Attached to the power steering pump.

 

Checking to see if you're still parting out this truck. These are the small items I'm in search of:

• Door checks - replaced the passenger side with new already, so I'm particularly interested in the driver side and both rear access cab door checks if they're working somewhat normally. Might be interested in the driver side even if it's not working well as I have a rebuild kit.
• Seatbelt retractor - driver's side. Noticed someone else asked for the same part a while back, but didn't see a reply.
• Antenna assembly - everything that goes in and out of the fender except the actual antenna.

Antenna assembly is only around $60 it seems. Cover is around $7, that's the black part that caps it off. If you have the guts off your old, this may get you there.

 

That does help indeed. The previous owner made a mess of the top bit - put a nut and washer on it to keep it from falling inside the fender. And now that's rusted so I'll have to use my saws all to cut it off. I still have the original mast and I have a "shorty" TRD mast in a drawer somewhere around here.

Looks like all I actually need is PN 863000C010. Seems to have the cap, nut and everything else.
