Hello all, I just bought a 2000 Tundra 5 weeks ago with "only" 152.000 miles on it. It's in great shape. My first Tundra and only my second Pick up truck ever. Anyway, when I got it it had no key fobs, but it has that little red blinking light on the lower dash panl that the factory Toyota security system would normally be. I was told that this was a dealer installed option. My Truck is the SR5 model. I was wondering if there is a way to find the main security system box and get some key fobs or should I just get a entirely new system installed? What are your recommendations?

    Thanks, and God bless.

The main box is located under the kick panel underneath the steering wheel. I thought I had a picture of it but most have deleted it. It is a rectangular box about 3x2" wrapped in black tape.

I was going to buy the OEM remotes but opted to have a remote start put in for $300. My truck is nice and warm when I get in now!
