    Center Dash Trim Bezel
I need help with this. So I have bought this 2000 Tundra Limited TRD 4x4 edition in 2001... The clock on the center dash console stopped working a couple years ago so I tried refloating the control board and noticed that the clock face had a pretty bad burn out on the edge of it. Everything else worked just fine except the clock so I went and bought a used bezel off ebay that they said "Fits 2000-2006 Toyota Tundra Limited edition"... Well... before I installed it I noticed that the wiring was different colors but the connectors fit exactly and the gap around the stereo didn't match up making me think that this new bezel is for a 2006 and not a 2000 model. So, I went with it and lo and behold the clock worked again.
Now after install the stereo won't work. Clock works and everything else like the emergency light switch works, the bed dome light works, the AC/Heat works just fine but, the stereo wont come on... FYI I havn't tried the 4x4 switches yet... I'm afraid to now...
Any ways, back to the stereo... I tested all the fuses and I do mean all the fuses except for fusible links and all the fuses are fine.
I tested the amplifier thats behind and down under the stereo and I get power on the ACC wire going to the amp but, I'm not getting the constant power on the wire to the amp let alone from the amp to the stereo.
I get power on the ACC wiring to the amp but, no power on the constant hot though the fuse is fine.
My research has shown me that that the constant hot is tied into the 'dome light' circuit.
The dome lights are working as expected.
This whole issue started because I wanted the clock to work and now the clock works but, the radio wont work.
Questions now... Is the constant hot to the stereo coming from the control board for the center console control? Or is there a fusable link between the fuse block and the stereo for the constant hot to the stereo that controls the power for the stereo???
I really dont know at this point why I have the ACC power but not the constant power to the amp which goes to the stereo...

Dash bezels are super difficult to swap between vehicles, and the person who sold that to you is full of shit. There's no bezel that will work for a 2000 that will also work for a 2006. To boot, the HVAC controls can be (and often are) different just within the same years, as members here have found out.

Some members on here with earlier-model trucks have found that radio turn-on is dependent on the dash bezel working. One guy posted earlier this year, "I swapped out to aftermarket radio and damn thing won't turn on!" ... it's because he was trying to test the radio without plugging all the dash connectors in.

As you also found, the opening around the radio on the earlier models is much tighter/smaller than the newer models. A lot of us '04+ guys aren't so happy about that. Most newer touch screens look better in the older model bezel, there's no gaps around the sides.

Anyway, for now, if I were you, I'd swap the old bezel back in and return the bezel because it was poorly listed, it WILL NOT fit a 2000 pickup.

For longer-term solution, learn to live w/o a clock, or start hunting for a donor 2000 model 4x4 without VSC (if that was an option), and hope the HVAC controls work. I'm pretty sure the HVAC controls may have a p/n on them, it'd be in format XXXXX-XXXXX if memory serves, but not sure where to find it.

Your pic just reminded me of what else doesn't match with the dash bezel. The later models like mine don't have the round key provision that lets you turn the passenger airbag on/off. It's controlled via seat sensor in later years. So I guess there's even more differences than just the radio opening.

Go figure...why would anyone want to test their radio installation before buttoning everything back up, right?
