@AZBoatHauler any plans to send those fogs into BD for the free upgrade? Or do you like the look of the original lens better

I do like the old version look better - I’m considering sending them in because I chipped one of the SAE lenses and they won’t replace it so I’m not street legal at the moment running a spot / wide cornering combo lens.

No joke, I had a friend of a friend in college who drilled a few holes in a steel I-Beam and bolted it onto his OBS F.250 in place of his front bumper. The parking brake had blown out so he would just drive it into a tree and that would serve as his parking brake lol

I have been looking for this bumper forever. I can’t believe they stopped making it due to low sales.

@Y0TA PR0, looks great! Is that a Warn EVO 12S you mounted in there? Looks like you didn't have to relocate the control pack

Thks!! Yessir it is the evo 12s. No I didn’t relocate the control pack.
I did have to grind off some metal off a bracket that was in the way, and fitted perfect.

so I trimmed that bracket I circled in red. I trimmed almost all the bottom of the bracket, top of bracket I left alone.

not the one going up and down, just the one sticking out.

Finally did the install today. Thanks to some advice from @Y0TA PR0 i didn’t have to relocate my control box. Its was snug but everything fit and is functional. I did bend the power steering cooler bracket back a bit, the cooler was snug against the back of my bumper. And no issue with the TSS so far.

I'm sure its been talked about before in here but for those that don't know Coastal Offroad has a front WIY plate bumper available for the 2.5 gens which comes in 1/4" aluminum or 3/16" steel and has several options including body lift adjustments, parking sensor/light cut outs and grille tubing. These are very well engineered bumpers that can stand up to all the abuse.

If anyone is interested in picking one up soon, we are currently running this group buy with them. 15% off all products for all signups and an additional 25% off of shipping for those that can do group shipping. Details in this thread: https://www.tundras.com/threads/bumpers-sliders-skids-group-buy-all-makes-models.140683/

We are also working with the owner (who has a Tundra of his own) to make a rear bumper for you guys. It won't be done in time for the group buy sadly but it will be coming out and I believe it will have a swing out option just like all other Coastal rear bumpers do

I need to stay away from this thread. Over a year ago I bought a whole bumpers and sliders package from demello off road but when it was time to pay off the rest of the order and ship, we had a fall out in the deal and I eventually got my money back. Fast forward to over a year later, I recently purchased a set of hooke road front and rear bumpers because I got a good deal from Hooke road directly. Well, when they arrived the boxes were really beat up and there were several chips and scuffs on the bumpers which I strongly believed were not all from shipping. I am very picky with things and it was already a huge leap of faith going with Chinese bumpers when I usually go with a more reputable, brand name company. Anyways, sent them back a few days ago and am awaiting my money back.

Part of me thinks it’s a sign from God that I need to stop spending money and be more content. The other part of me wants to push forward and continue making my dream truck a cooler, sweeter dream truck. I don’t know… Sorry guys, don’t have anywhere else to vent about this world-class dilemma I’m having.

This CBI bumper was around 2 grand shipped. The quality is impeccable, and everything fit perfect. It just bolts on, and no cutting necessary, although I did trim the center grill support bracket a little for the Badlands winch (was barely touching it).
The best advantage, for me, in getting an aftermarket bumper is that my drivers tire doesn’t rub anymore in reverse. I can’t tell you how annoying that was…could’ve just shimmed the old bumper, but now have winch, lights etc.
I think a new bumper is the 2nd best Tundra upgrade, first being suspension/wheels/tires.
