Wow shes a beauty. I really like it alot, should a gone blue though ;) I'm biased though.

I have always said, if I ever had the need for a truck more than a tundra (I doubt I ever will, the tundra is more than what I need), my truck of choice would be a GM HD of some kind. A 2500 Denali would be a dream truck for me. I wouldn't ever get any other 1/2 ton though.
I'm surprised you didn't get the Denali, unless of this is actually a trim level higher? It kinda looks like it may be. Does this have that wild tailgate stuff?

I know you already have that gladiator build going on but.....
Are you gonna mod the hell out of this thing like the tundra? Or keep it to a "mild" work truck build? (We all know 1upper "mild" is actually insane to us mortals). I would imagine you can get some pretty crazy power numbers on top of it's already nearly 1,000 ft lbs of torque stock

I looked at all the color options and I really liked this color. The AT4 has all the same options as the Denali but less chrome. So the price point is the same as the Denali. Yes it has the funky tailgate. I really don’t care that much for it. I like the truck and it’s capabilities. 6CCDFF39-4F11-4DE0-8CD4-D9D857BA8ECF.jpg

What's not to love man. 7k lbs payload, 35k + lbs tow rating, transparent trailer cameras, and a freaking Jake brake. Beyond capable truck I'd say. I don't think a single tundra owner could honestly say that they wouldn't take one of these bad boys.

I actually canceled my gladiator order. It arrived on Monday almost 6 months after I originally ordered it. I still have customs wheels that will arrive in about a week for it. I have the roof rack for it as well. But after driving it my wife and I couldn’t justify the cost. To much money for a small truck.

I plan to keep my new rig more capable for towing. So probably 2” lift 35s and a few other things. My focus is a family and work related build.

Nice truck, and I hate you. My next one is in 2025 for my retirement present to my tow duty self.

Congratulations on the new truck. I have the Chevy version for our work truck, it's awesome. Running a BDS/Fox kit and Fuels with 35" 11.50" 20 Ridge Grapplers.

I bought some tundra parts from a guy today who just leased a new Sierra AT3, I think that's what it was. It was a 1500 version and I liked it alot. Lots of storage, cool tech and tailgate. He said he missed the power and space of the tundra but otherwise loves his new truck. You have the power and space issue solved with the HD, the one I saw today wasn't nearly as loaded as yours is and it was still a really really nice truck..

My tundra was a great truck for the three years I owned it. Today the Tundra is officially out of my hands. I’m now the proud owner of a 3/4 ton diesel GMC 2500HD 4x4 AT4. I have loved all four of my previous Toyota Tundra trucks! Toyota’s are still what I consider to be the most reliable trucks on the market but I needed a truck with more towing capacity. I hope you guys don’t mind if I stick around and have fun with all the shenanigans.

I was told this is the first Dark Sky Gray AT4 in San Antonio. Either way I like the color! 647ABC0D-F660-486F-B4A8-0B368288DE6C.jpg

First year gmc has offered a head up display on a HD truck. Love this feature! Shows the speed limit and my current speed. Then I can change the left side view pending my preference on settings. The seat vibrates when you get to close to a vehicle or drift out of the lane.

The phone charger station in the center console is a very nice feature. You just set your phone on it and it charges it without a cord.
