Lol. Not exactly. I’m just blessed to be able to enjoy the fruits of all my hard work. My builds are something I look forward to and enjoy being to use them for family trips and work.

If you get bored, and feel the need to splurge- I would love a 2020 Tesla P100D.
I’ll even take it in grey:bananadead:

Just look at that beautiful rear cantilevered suspension. This is the direction I’m leaning towards for my next Tundra build. 2170D4B5-5FAE-4726-914A-D22BAAB17E91.jpg 94752DB2-CB86-4A9F-8E03-F71244DD48A8.jpg

Full cantilevered long travel supercharged 2020 tundra. Has a nice ring to it lol.
Is there any way at all that you can keep your bed 100% ( or close to it) usable. I know you use your truck every day and haul the family in vacations with it. I assume where theres a will theres a way, and you of all people could do it. I'll take your old beat up tundra shipped to CT, just need to free up some cash and make my garage door 2 feet taller :/

The cantilever setup is all installed below the bed. So I can still retain my whole bed space. This is another setup for even more travel in the rear but it requires to cut into the bed. I elected to not go that route. It’s an even better setup for longer travel and to absorb more heavy bumps at speed. I just don’t need that much travel for this build or want to loose my bed space. My current Tundra isn’t beat up. It still drives amazing! It’s perfect for next owner. I actually considered keeping it and getting second tundra at one point.

I was busting your balls about beat up. I know you take great care of your vehicles. Figured maybe I could trick you into thinking you should unload it to me in the cheap.

That long travel set up is crazy cool, I dont think I have seen anything with that much travel, even a trophy truck

    Yeah I know. I didn’t take it personal.:fistbump:

It will be a fun and functional suspension but not anything like a trophy truck. Those things are insane! My first plan was to do the massive long travel shocks in the rear but it’s overkill for what I need. So I’m going with the cantilever setup.

I'm excited for the build, I can't imagine how pumped you are. I follow your truck and barn builds here and love the updates. The barns and other projects are absolutely amazing, and it's pretty cool that those guilds and hard work afford you to be able to build these trucks like you do. I won't lie, I'm a little jealous lol

I ordered this sensor cover plate on eBay for my 2019 TRD pro grille. It does a good job to fill in the oem sensor but it’s very pricey for $139. Especially since it’s just plastic. D2C8DA9B-608F-49F7-AE4F-3E501354CA14.jpg

I read somewhere that you can slightly modify a Tacoma garnish, which can be had for under $50.

OEM sensors retail for around $400! I wasn’t going to pay that for something that can’t even operate on my 2017. I looked for his option first but I couldn’t find it.

This is a cantilevered long travel rear suspension. It has 12” 3.0 King 3-Tube Bypasses, Deaver 196HD leaf packs & King Bump stops. This kit will allow 15”-16” of wheel travel in the rear without having to loose my rear bed-space. This suspension is not something you want if you tow a lot. The Deaver HD leaf packs can helps with light towing but this suspension is setup for off-road performance.

There is another setup I looked into for the rear that would require me to have the bed cut into. It would give me at least 17” of travel in the rear and I could run 3.5 Kings. It was a great setup but overkill for me.

Selling my 2017 Platinum CM 4x4 with 87k miles. I’ll post up a whole breakdown on my tundra with everything soon. I will be selling it with everything on it except the 50” Rigid adapt light bar. The Adapt is going on my next build. The magnuson S.C., larger fuel injectors, larger fuel pump, hp tuner, custom tune, 240 amp alternator, icon UCA, rear trac bars, 4.88 gears, Auburn LSD, TRD big brake kit, JBA long tube headers, dirty deeds mid pipes, Corsa rear exhaust, 22”x12” forged wheels, Nitto 37” tires, rear tv screens, husky mats, carbon dash, TRD black shifter, camper shell, custom one off roof rack, rear camper rack, bed rug, 8” lift kit, NSV hood bulge led, 30” Rigid Radiance bumper light, dual row RGB led rotor rings, fox coilovers, coach builder steering kit, coach builder shackles, spod bantam switch controller, viper alarm with remote start, mammoth wheel well guards, and all the other goodies will go with the sale. I’ll be asking $52k as is. I have six figures in the truck and someone is going to get one bad ass tundra with more parts and upgrades than I want to add up.

Serious interest please PM me. I’ll be posting the truck for sale in the next week or two. This truck always turns heads and has the meanest sound when you start the truck! Gonna miss it but I’m ready for my next build.

Wow I know you said we would be surprised by the price you're asking....this is true. I would have thought closer to 80k than 50k. Especially figuring that you have over 100k into it, not counting your blood, sweat and tears, plus all your own sweat equity. You did A LOT of that work yourself and all of the design and planning. I have always been blown away by your ideas and one-off parts on this truck. If that truck would fit in my garage I would have a 1 way ticket to Texas and a stack of cash in my hand and would see you labor day. I love this truck and know how well it has been cared for and maintained. Everything was done right, no shortcuts.Someone is going to get one hell of a truck for that price. Good luck buddy, I can't imagine you'll have an issue getting 52k, I'd say someone would pay 70 easy. I want it, but it's a non starter for me if I can't garage that beauty and my truck barely fits at stock height. Parting out will definitely get ya more money and I'd love a few items, but I like the idea of keeping this baby complete. Ugh this is killing me

Lol I wish man. I seriously would strongly consider it, if I had a garage to house it. Always loved thos truck, especially now with the SC and tune. Plus I know the love and care that he put into it. Someone is getting a hell of a truck at a hell of a deal

Thank you Ron. I’d never used wax in the past, since it doesn’t last long, but it really does add a depth to the color that sealants don’t.
