I usually have to anchor my brakes 3 times a week for deer where i live in NW oregon. I’m still on the lookout for a Tacoma ARB bumper to mount on my Tundra.

This is the Trail Ready bumper on my sister’s Cummins.

The Road Armor bumper on my Cummins right after the truck got totaled in a car accident.

We are also graced with javelina here, they will mess your front end up just as much as a deer; more undercarriage but I’ve seen bent frame horns from those guys

Excuse me sir, are these skid plates Javelina rated?

A buddy of mine hit a horse in his Honda Civic, damn near made it all the way through the windshield. At a certain point a bumper isn't helping and you need a full exo cage.

I like the looks of the high clearance rear bumper, but my truck would need some sort of mid-clearance bumper that still had plenty of room to be used as a step bumper. Plus i would absolutely still need the full weight rating of a rear receiver hitch.

Do you have anymore photos of the truck after the respray? Love that color and have been thinking about getting my white RCLB sprayed.

I put a full-tubing, high-clearance Coastal Offroad front bumper on my 2001 Tundra. Have been very happy with it. I never welded before, so I bought a welder and used this project to learn. I was able to weld it up without any major problems. I used the MIG gun with 0.030 flux core wire (no gas) and it was mostly perfect for this job.

The instructions are pretty good, but were for a later-gen Sequoia so some stuff was different (only some of which they acknowledged in the instructions). I wish they’d give you the option of printing your own color set because the photos in the instructions lose some detail in the black and white renderings. I also had to tweak a couple of things on mine to get it to fit, but it was fine overall.

Edit: you’ll need a child with skinny arms to install the license plate UNLESS you install the bolts from behind before welding that main bent plate (number 6) into place.
