Originally yes. I mounted d rings to my bed using the bed bolts near the tailgate. The trouble with that was the tire being in my way when loading anything into the bed. It works well to make the tire easy to access but it got annoying to live with.

Eventually I put a tire mounting plate towards the cab and use that instead. It still eats space but I can load stuff in the bed without trouble. At some point I will reconfigure my exhaust so that I can put my spare under the bed for daily driving.

Thanks. I'm hoping I can stuff mine but we'll have to see. I would be 100% OK re-routing the exhaust if it passes smog.

You can do anything you want after the cats and smog won't be a problem. They'll only pick on you from the cats to the motor.

I fear Billy's price sheet may have increased, it wasn't cheap, but I suspect it'd be best to check in with him on that? I paid separately for deposit, then final, then cash for the PC and I picked up so no shipping. I think it was 8+ then PC was 2?

If you do the coastal let me know,
I’ll send pics of where I gusseted the wings even more than what they provide, I can also show you what not to do as far as reinforcement, and a tip by karmakannon, making reliefs in the corners for mud and snow and shit; my corners a packed with mud!!!!

Can you justify a 220v unit? Make something up…….
Haha so I tacked mine all up at my house with my 120v unit, making sure everything was perfect, then had my welder friend weld it with his 220v machine, it warped a hair, but nothing bad. But 220 will get the best and strongest penetration.

I bought the welder before welding up the front bumper. I can run 120/220. I just need to do more projects so I can justify it. The sliders need some attention first, then the rear bumper.

Anyone know anyone with an iron bull bumper?

about to pull the trigger unless anyone has a good reason not to. Reviews are kinda all over the place.

It's massive and looks completely out of place on a FGT...might look ok on something like an F350...but that is just a subjective opinion on it's looks. I have no idea about it's quality.

It doesnt look like it hangs out as far as the arb, but still has room for bumper beers.

I think the license plate location bothered me but I'm strange. Not sure how BFF front bumper does the plate.

Horrible looks aside, @Brown Bear has a buddy with that bumper. Maybe he can provide some likes/dislikes.

Full disclosure, I have not seen that Iron Bull bumper on an FGT in person. It's not the hanging out, it's the sheer size of it that bothers me visually, top to bottom. I've seen several ARBs on DCs in person, not just pics. While it's not small, it looks good in person to my eyes, even if it's not the best looking bumper in the world.

Hmmm lets see, take your rig to a curated off-road rec park that is a mud pit half the time or go off-roading in the beautiful red rocks of Sedona with access to National Forest and BLM trails nearby. Not a hard choice IMO.

Living out west, the idea of curated off-road parks is so odd. I mean we have designated government lands for OHV areas, but that's different than the private parks out East that I see online.
