    I think Toyota calls for 90 API GL-5 but thats really hard to find. 80w-90 works fine. I believe mine takes just a bit over 3 qts.

    Be sure to check put your diff breather while you are at it. Good investment to do the breather mod and run an extension tube up into the rear tail light area. Making sure the breather works will prevent you from blowing seals.

    His work is very well known in the local clubs, it was either here or on one of the local forums; he fixed another company install issues and got the customer back on the road proper. If I ever regear or lock something I’ll send it up there.

    Some good info going here. I’ve been thinking on what to do out back for a traction adder. Installing an Old Man Emu suspension this weekend, and so far I’ve been unimpressed with the limited slip
