USER=60092]@alb1k[/USER] @FrenchToasty Hey, Guys. I read every email from Gazelle going back to January, and I see no discount, only free shipping. Demand is high, I guess. BUT I think they offer a one time 10% off to new email signups. So if you can tolerate a million emails until you unsubscribe, that’s probably the best you can get right now.

Good to know. I get most of my snowboard stuff that way. A shop in Canoga Park puts last seasons goods at 20-30% off, the season prior and anything older at 40% off.

some buds & I took our bikes up to some Rhode Island "Woodstock"-like weekend long pig roast. Got to the field & the ground looked like the pigs pen.
My Ninja & I had no problem making progress across that slop.
Although my buddies somehow found the site of a Ninja mudding hilarious.

With driver skills & the right tires...

With everyone talking about $5k used bikes, a new 400ABS Ninja was running right about $5k last I looked. Good starter size IMO.

Everyone have an opinion about ABS on a bike? I'm undecided if I like that concept (having saved myself by locking the wheels more than 1x in life).

FWIW, I've had 3 honda bikes & every one was a royal PIA. My buddy still has his '87 Honda something bike & for as long as I can recall has rebuilt something every year.

My kawasaki - only problem it ever gave me was the horn button went wonky, had to push & wiggle it, but still 'worked'.

Last bike tires I ever bought were Metzeler. Loved them. It was like the bike grew claws that were digging into the pavement. Awesome grip on those tires.

They're a touch above $5k. I think the abs model is $5300. I like abs on there since it's so dangerous to lock up the front wheel.

I'm already well over my $5k budget. I'd have to wait a few months for more. But I am intrigued...

The only other guy around that doesn't spell it wrong is @FirstGenVol .
But actually - those other guys are probably spelling right for them, Eurasia maybe. I roll with the Viking type.
