Yeah, the website unfortunately hijacked the link. Here, try this link: https://www.truecar.com/used-cars-for-sale/listing/JTDJT903295261723/

And if it fails, copy/paste the URL into your browser.

EDIT: and if it still fails because of ad blockers or whatever, you're missing out on this mean manual tranny commuting machine.

Still better looking than a 2021 Sequoia; although I'd prefer a 2021 Landcruiser.

I shopped these pretty hard before I ordered my truck. Prices were just a little too crazy. I have a buddy that's a mutual fund wholesaler with an HE. I'm supposed to have first right of refusal when he sells it. He racks up some miles on it so between that and a cooled off market, maybe I'll get a deal

Every night when I drive home from work there are people who are taking the same route they always take. They know what lane to be in and where the backups occur. Several of them, would prefer to drive like a coked out tourists and cut people off to jump into the lane they new they had to be in a block or more before. I call these people assholes. Many of them drive Teslas or German cars. Or Japanese EV.

    I'm currently shopping VW mkIV R32, VW mkV R32, 996 c4s, and [8V] Audi S3.
I need to get back to my roots and then build a [totally useless given my geography] T4R later.

    It didn't get to that.
I'm not one to pull that thang unless I'm dumping the whole mag in someone's chest.

I'm going to finish wiring the new EFI in the 911 this weekend and take some glamour shots of the 1GT.
May even try to sleep in one day...although I can't seem to make it past 0630 unless I'm ill.

Very cool, sounds like a blast. That reminds me, I showed my pops your 911 and he thought it was sick. He had a '70 911 that he sold when I was six or seven. Wish he didn't sell that thing, but I understand his reasons.

We have those too. They're generally people from Rhode Island driving in MA.

Don't forget the classy move of jumping 3 lanes to take your exit at the last second. :D

We have several roads like that here in ATL. Where the there's a backup in the right-hand lane 1/8 mile deep or more, and the left lane is clearly marked as "left turn only" 1/4 mile from the intersection, and 90% of the drivers through those specific corridors know gd well left lane is turn only, but they still insist on slowing shit up even more, driving in the left lane and trying to cut in during the last block or so. Then there's the super-douchey-ultra-entitled assholes who, if they can't shove their way in and no suckers let them in, they'll continue into the intersection, driving head-on into the oncoming traffic's turn lane, causing everyone to brake and leave them with an opening.

The old racial segregation lines of ATL's in-town roads has left the city with several choke points between areas, leaving behind intersections for surface streets which DOT deems "non-functional", i.e. they are insufficient to support the amount of traffic needing to use them to crossover from south to north. Aggravating. And that's where most of the lane jumping BS happens. That and at metered interstate on-ramps.

Other half is out of town for work through Sunday. While I got lucky enough to land the oldest kid with a friend at their family lake house for the weekend, I'm still stuck taking care of the youngest else I'd be re-gasketing my valve covers. I'll find out today whether or not part of my weekend chores include installing a new built-in microwave & trim kit.

Fun times, I guess? At least I'm still breathing.

Bummer. But I totally understand, it's clear this has been weighing on your head pretty heavily for a while.

Curious, are you open to trades? Something fun and/or fuel-economical? May be worth dropping in that post, if so. Just thinking outside the box, maybe you can find a mutually-beneficial arrangement.

I am, but the cars I'm after are so wildly specific that it's a really serious long-shot...and it'd be a trade up on my end. (not that I won't be coming out of pocket if I sell and then buy what I want)
