Thirty minutes just now trying to get to the office. Made it about halfway and gave up. My commute is 8 miles. Bicycle would have been there by now. I give up.

This sounds like my commute on a bad day. Only I'm 5 miles away.

According to Google, it would take me two hours and forty minutes to get to my office riding a bicycle.

Think Google will get e-bike speed eventually?

Will the e-bike have enough battery to make all the hills?

I've been waiting 15 years for the state to finish a 27 mile walk/bike path that would take me to another work location that now longer exists as of 3 years ago.

Every little town along the way has to be a little bitch about not paying their share of the funds to complete it.

2hr 16min for me (by bike, according to google)

We had a light rail that ran from downtown indy right up through some of the largest (by population) suburbs. But they never put in any stations or ran any trains. It was used for some seasonal BS and everyone hated the crossings that were only in use a couple days a year. So they took out the tracks instead of utilizing them.
I'd take the train in and a bike the balance and be happy as hell.
But ooooohhhhh no. A bunch of Karens needed another trendy (overpriced and not very good) breakfast/yoga place in Fishers.

For some reason the only thing our city does moderately well, is bikes, we do have “the tour” every year, but recently the finally links up all the river paths into one big loop. They are also doing things called “bike boulevards” making neighborhood streets more bike travel friendly and safer; putting in more roundabouts and curb cut outs and speed humps, they are actually doing one on the street I live soon supposedly. But I think it’s 11 miles and connects a bunch of parks as well.
    https://www.arizonabikerides.com/rides/586/the-loop-bike-ride-tucson/

We also have a thing called cyclovia and they block off streets for that too; more family geared with activities along the way but we had fun when we did it a few years back

I didn't realize you were in Tucson.
My friend Jon and his wife just moved there in 2020. They're just nutty about bikes. He's training for some monster gravel race in OK this summer.

Then I bet he loves it here! they do a few other cool biking events up the back side of the local mountain(I did it in scouts) and another one out that same way, usually in winter I think. But yeah our bike paths are dope, they also USED to have a sweet like bike swap meet down on hipster avenue.

Yeah it’s a strange city, but super cool if you can see the beauty in it. Hahah I bet he won’t stop talking about monsoon season when it’s here, that shit is bad ass!

I’ll have some pics this weekend when I test fit and hammer some shit. Work has been nuts and haven’t had time to work on the truck. We haven’t had rain in 2 months but of course it’s supposed to this weekend! Rain or shine, I’ll get some shit done!

I think I'm leaning more towards no locker for the time being. I'll sleep on it a bit.

Yep it's the remaining 25% that make the difference. Just because they share similar parts doesn't mean they are the same. I'm not even sure your number of 75% is even accurate but I'll play along and take your word for it. The 4R has a shorter wheel base, better turning radius, it has a 5 link coil sprung rear. The driving dynamics are going to be a lot different in favor of the 4R. Other comfort features are available for the 3rd gen 4R like power seats which the 1st gen Tacoma never had and didn't get until 2020. The 3G 4Runner is simply not just a 1G Tacoma with a cap on it.

I skimmed and probably misread the last 300 posts arguing about modern vehicles IDGAF about. I came here for the lunch convo, on a Tundras forum, and we're talking about damn Honda Pilots and shit.

(j/k about everything but the misreading part)

Damn y'all check this thing out. Bet that's a gas saver, and it's manual, both the transmission and all the power options are manual too.
