Honestly, I know this sucks, but looks like it's just the cover thats damaged. I would take it to an auto parts store and have it tested. If it tests good I'd swap covers from your old one to the new one.

Should be three 8mm nuts as pictured holding that on if memory serves. Just my two cents though.

Also: I totally get why you want a replacement seeing as you don't know the status of the internals or if anything was jostled too hard, etc.

Yup, was thinking same; assuming the cover from my old 100A fits this 130A. However, I know I'm not gonna be able to install this next weekend as I'd hoped, got a kids bday to deal with, so I think I'm just going to ask RA to replace.. I'll pay to cross-ship if necessary. Request went in ~1hr ago, I'm giving their 1 biz day to reply on it.

Guessing I could also pop off the cover and glue it up. I just feel same as you said ... paid for a complete part, not a cracked one. I'd prefer a new complete, uncracked part. If the force against it was enough to do this, who knows what underlying shit I'll deal with later. Already had my prior alternator catch fire, not down for that again.

You can get an ELM27 adapter for like $20. Plugs into your OBD2 and connects to your phone via Wi-Fi. There are tons of free apps for each operating system in your App Store that support live data, or you can spend a couple bucks and get added features. Because it is not hardwired, it’s not a constant data flow, so dont expect wavelengths, but the data refreshes every 5-10 seconds and will give you the numbers you are lookin for. A few decent free ones are ‘car scanner’ ‘eobd-facile’, dash command’. Like I said there are a ton, so you gotta dig thru em. Half of em, you download the app and then find out they don’t tell you shit without paying to upgrade to pro version.

I think my actron cp9580 takes 1 second interval measurements.

I know it lets me export my data into excel so I can plot it out.

Well, no need to pay to cross-ship ... RA replied to my damage request in less than 4 hours, this is what they sent ... Talk about service, holy shit. New backup options just arrived... I know who I'll be shopping with from here on out, eh.

Plugging from a tire on the outside is super easy. A lot of the times it's quicker than changing a wheel if the hole is obvious and not on the sidewall. If you have to do a plug really close to the sidewall or shoulder, I wouldn't drive with deflated tires because you can theoretically push the plug back out.

Places like Discount do a plug from the inside of the tire that is much better. I like for them do my plugs if I can, especially if the plug is in the middle of the tread. Discount doesn't do plugs if they're too close to the sidewall or shoulder though.

I wanna know what mods the 12-14mpg crew are rocking. I drug the empty trailer 300 miles @60 mph with OD off and got 14.5mpg.

Havent filled the tank after getting home, but when i topped off when i stopped to get a drink i was at 12 mpg. Im guessing 10, but ive gotta climb alot of hills out here.

@Sirfive driving style and city vs hwy will have huge impacts on mpg also.
My 2mpg swing is with me 'calming down' my driving style since the bigger tires. Slower on freeway, slower away from stops, longer coasts before brakes/stop.

truck pulled great. Sequoia was better, might have been the coil sprung rear, or extra weight, but ive got no complaints about the tundras road manners.

I've never been to any tire shop that will patch a tire within about an inch of the sidewall.

I've also got DD injectors to install at some point.
I decided to wait to install them until I ran a few tanks through with the new wheels/tires to see what sort of impact they'd have.

And I use the Fuelly app to track economy and miles traveled. It doesn't take but a few moments to input all my info at each fuel up and it's free. Nice for watching long-term trends in fuel economy...and fuel cost.

Did you adjust your speedo or modify the app to account for your tires? With 33's I have to multiply my distance traveled by 1.08 to calculate correctly

I am getting mid 13's unloaded in mine. Thats with new stock size Michelin defenders. Has new plugs and coils that look good. Need to clean my maf and throttle body and then take a look at some live data. Not throwing any codes, but I'm thinking its oxygen sensors.

I've been multiplying miles traveled by 1.07 to account for the 33s.
I'd like to just recalibrate the speedo, but that's sorcery beyond my current abilities.

I can't be bothered to mess with the speedo on mine either. I've grown accustomed to keeping my speedo at five under whatever the posted speed limit is

The tundra noted 240 miles between home and crockett, the ranger noted 231.

I could see using fuelly. I find entering into scangauge a bit pesky to remember and not super sure what the point is to track it there since it's not bluetooth enabled, right?

I don't have a scangauge, so IDK about its functionality.
Fuelly is easy and doesn't eat up a lot of memory on my phone and has the sweet widget I have in my signature here.
