I over ordered anticipating using this stuff again. But I also need to make the radio harness an t harness for the amp now too.

Anyone know the wires for the heated seats? I’m still waiting for my oem switches but assume that I don’t have to use any of the katzkins wiring since my truck is already wired from factory? Coming from the seat I have the two elements, then they should tie into the plug on the seat bottom, but not sure which wires exactly. May have to experiment with my multimeter.
I’m very basic when it comes to wiring and remember looking at someone’s write up but I couldn’t follow it at all. I did buy a few curt brake controller wiring pigtails to use for the setup but still unsure if I need them.

I don’t believe polarity matters on the resistance pad. It’s just a big resistor. Polarity doesn’t matter for heated mirrors so it shouldn’t for the seat heaters. Two wires to two wires there.

the switches hopefully plug right in. If your harness has it.

then maybe you need a relay and / or fuse if those items were not populated in the factory.

but also possible you need some other part.

also note that oem seat heaters have known problems in the Tacoma so if it were me I’d probably prefer having aftermaket modules you can easily monitor and replace.

One of my first jobs early on was in the "Chemical Fabrication Lab". We used all sorts of epoxies and resins for casting, potting, and the like. One day I ran out of "Bakelite" resin (Polyoxybenzylmethylenglycolanhydride if you must know), but before the supplier would ship it they sent like 100 pages of warnings, disclaimers, waivers, etc. It seems this stuff is a deadly carcinogenic...who knew?! I'd been practically bathing in the stuff! My employer never bothered to tell me...

~ 40 years later and I haven't died yet. Ironically, COVID may kill me first!

Jeebus, 11 days? Most folks I know passed through it in 3-5 days. Any idea why it clobbered you so damn hard?

No idea, it seemed to dehydrate me super fast which I'm assuming didn't help. The last 5 days I didn't do anything other than lay on the couch and drink fluids.

I went through mine in less than 5 days. I think what helped me was continuing being up and about. Not so much exercising per se. Just simply keeping the body moving.

So weird. Sounds like @bmf4069 got hammered pretty hard too. Noticed two things recently. One, "Flu A" is making its rounds and has a lot of the ache/exhaustion symptoms of Delta. Two, a lot of my friends who got it tested negative the whole time they had symptoms, several tested positive after symptoms passed, or at the tail-end. Like, they'd get minor symptoms (I think all were jabbed) like runny nose, headache, brain fog, got tested in 1st or 2nd day after it was clear it wasn't allergies and test neg, it was gone within 48 hours, they'd test again to get cleared for work and POOF. Positive.

I'm sure your youth helped significantly. Neighbors kid got through his in like 48 hours, wasn't even as bad as a minor cold. 17yo bodybuilder though.

Tried that but just walking up and down the basement stairs to do laundry wiped me out. After the fatigue was gone the headache made me nauseous when I was up moving around.

Have an antigen test scheduled for tomorrow morning, apparently PCR can come back positive for up to 3 months but the antigen tests will come back negative if there isn't an active infection. Pretty sure I'm through it but I don't want to spread it around if I still have it.

That sucks. I’ve been sick for about 4 days now. Keep waking up with massive headache. Fever, sore throat that burns all day long and a cough. Nothing on my tonsils though and I was vaxxed so not sure what I’ve got but it’s no fun. I didn’t get out of bed yesterday till about 7pm. Getting tested today cause I think my daughter (6yr old) caught it now.
