I’ve been out of the Phx game for to long. But for coffee, I’d check out Bikini Beans, I used to clean their ice machines

four peaks brewery has pretty good food/bar food though, 2 locations last time I was there. But also Rudy’s bbq is supposed to be super tasty!

At first look I thought these nerfs were made of PVC. Not entirely sure what they used.

I like the 2 door first gen RAV4. My mom's friend down the street growing up had a green one. I could imagine it being like a Suzuki Samurai with the right mods.

    And I don’t think it’s a huge additional cost, like 200$

+1 on the Beam. That is some kind of sorcery what they have pulled off. Add a pair of their subwoofers and you have a really high-end system that all looks clean when installed.

Can’t you just flip one? Haha jk!
I haven’t done it, but I can ask my buddy, he had Zuk do his, and Zuk takes them somewhere in “the valley” to get treated. What specifics are you looking for?

Ah, ok, I still have the possibility of using Zuk if I abandon the ARB. Just can’t really get in touch with Nitro yet.

Good call on the Rudy’s helluva spread. Now to see how “authentic” this Texas style BBQ is. Brisket analysis in progress.

It's black magic fuckery, honestly. I don't even feel like it needs a sub for the size of room I'm in and I'm a total basshead. Nobody EVER believes me until they hear it in person. Nobody. I didn't even believe it when I first heard the one I helped install. It's mind boggling.

Some people would say that makes you a sucker. I think that's the way it oughta be. With how many selfish MF'ers walking around these days, it's refreshing to know there's someone else out there walking the opposite. It's a hell of a lot more fulfilling to live life that way.

I remember eating Rudy's BBQ and getting the beef brisket. As I recall, I was filling up at a gas station while waiting on my order. Go figure. Great food though.

The brisket is delicious. Lacks the thick mesquite smoke ring, but good eats none the less. The rest is great as well. Cool
Atmosphere here too. Has a bit of the Mission BBQ feel to it.

You aren't wrong. I'm one of the only dudes driving around in that body style RAV4. That said, it's been the perfect vehicle for us. In 10 years I've only replaced a radiator hose. 29 MPG on road trips.

    A mil-dtl-38999 circular connector.

The bent pin was the cause of an obscure problem that cost my company over $100k in engineering labor to track down the fault in the sea of cabling. No surprise there.

    A close up...

Its all differential RS485 signaling. We have similar connectors for fiber optics.
