If I could do one other thing (outside of predict cards) it would be guitar or piano. #jealous

Little late to the party but I'm still alive and kicking for now. I've been elbow deep in life. New job, moving, and getting the Firebird I bought running (it's named the Fireturd and I actually have an LS I plan to swap in it now)

The week before I was supposed to move, my water pump went out and I had to tackle that job myself for the first time. I had it done at a shop like 40k miles prior, the water pump leaked, and then a different shop put a new water pump in again about 20k miles ago. I ended up getting a whole new Aisin belt and pump kit just to be done with it.

I’m stewing on a solid axle swap once my CVs and ball joints go out again. I already have an upper bj that busted a boot. They’re barely a year old.

At his point I’m thinking radius arms. Better ride than leafs, and less complicated than a full 4 link. Plus, I want to retain good road manners and drive ability, so ride height should be change too much. I could potentially even reuse the stock coil over top mounts.

We’ll see. I have so many unfinished projects that I probably shouldn’t even waste time thinking about it, but it’s fun to dream and plan.

    Purty welds on those....

Honestly, if you can just learn 3-4 chords (C, D, G Maj, E min?), you can already play hundreds (thousands?) of songs, half-ass.

First song I was taught to play was Rebel Rouser because the awesome dude living across the street teaching me (RIP Scottie W Gibbs!) wanted me to learn how to move my hands around the neck a little bit.

@alb1k you should know, Fender has online classes on the cheap. You just need to decide whether you want to learn acoustic or electric (or bass, which is weird to me) and carry on. You can get any solid, beginner-friendly action, inexpensive Yamaha F or G model full size acoustics at your local Guitar Center or similar all day long.

I know some folks have other tricks to handle it, but brake cleaner will knock most of that oil stain out of the concrete pretty quick.

Not pumping anything. Changing socks. This is our "oil seperator." Filters out any oil in the water before it goes back to the city circulation.

Like a sock on a rooster.

1 - whoever was driving that car has significant back problems in their future, if they're not paralyzed already, significant impact.
2 - this picture just reminds me I wouldn't mind picking up some OEM step bars to keep on-hand "just in case" I want a change later.

I avoided looking at it. Lol

When the guy called the dealer about this truck at first my writer told me it was a reg cab 5.7. I was estatic. Then I talked to the guy and it was a 4.7. Still awesome. But not 505hp supercharged future ahead of it awesome lol
