Manoa falls, the site of my proposal. Scratched the ring on a rock too. At least I didn’t drop it.

No, it was mine. Recently I came to realize it was a Mexican built Martin. Very strange to me since my parents never spent money on anything, maybe it was a knock off. Wish I still had it now.

I saw a lady get up and do that on a beach, cover it and lay back down. Reminded me of a cat but not in a good way.

That's pretty awesome. I remember when Kane joined DX (sort of) and was tag team partners with XPac... then they betrayed him and made fun of him

Listen, at times I do, and say some pretty dumb shit, but I'm not that turbo retarded. When I was in the tent of pain last December doing my front end overhaul on the V6, I ran the truck once in a while to keep warm in there. It was sub-30 which is nothing for some of you guys, but cold as Eskimo ..... to me.

I kept the ass end of the truck out if the tent for this reason.

Wearing both top and bottom thermal underwear is the key to survival here. Just need to keep your face and hands warm after that.

And you were still cold? Damn.

I've changed my oil in 20 degree weather and the only thing that bothered me was the 5 degree windchill that blew across my face.

I don't have any good answer for you other than that tent and a space heater.

Maybe keep some of those hand-warmer packets in your satchel. (like a purse, but non-gender-specific)

Inside the tent was about 55 or so degrees. I actually started sweating once I figured out how to heat it with the truck. Got down to just pants with long johns and a long sleeve shirt with shoes and a beanie.

It was the wind that kept blowing in the bottom of the tent that was killing me. We had sharp winds about 30(+/-) mph. Like you said, windchill is a bitch

Laying on the cold ground can pull the heat out of you as well.
I keep a stash of huge cardboard boxes for such events. Sometimes they come in handy inside the garage as well. Rust, dirt, or water running off the car/truck is just as annoying as cold earth.

Yeah, man. Those gravels will be cold as a bish. Lay on a cardboard box to insulate yourself from the earth. Makes a huge difference.
That's what I did when I changed my CSB...in my driveway...in ~15F weather. 'Twas brisk.

I agree. But also realize there's too damn many people out there who, honestly, you could save their ass from certain death, but if you're not cute, they still won't give you the time of day or ounce of respect. Humans have an uncanny ability to be superficial. Judging books by the cover, bashing on anything less-than-perfect is nearly as popular as eating tide pods and smashing school restrooms for internet points these days. Reality TV, Honey Boo Boo type garbage really inspired a whole slew of idiocy.

Funny enough, someone could argue if you're not offended by my words in this post, my point is contextually the same as his, I used less pics. Same point. Different delivery.

Makes you wonder, whatever happened to the old adage, "If you ain't got nothin nice to say ... don't say it?" Wish we could make that virally popular again. Would've saved me a few unpleasant confrontations the past decade.

You guys make me want one in all of my vehicles. Prioritizing the corolla since I spent most of my night time driving in it. Corolla already has a 2(?) pin connector on the mirror for the front map lights.
