I have never met Tex but I love him. Always wanted a dog that looked like that. I love the fact that he's throwing down on Ol'Roy. :)

Sorry but Ol Roy is garbage, at least throw him a raw chicken leg, he will love that shit; he will think he is king and take it into the woods and nibble, then destroy that bone!

Cattle dogs are pretty bad ass, your clearly his. Next dog I want is either a cattle dog, lab or a boxer.
Throw him a raw drumstick next time your cooking, he will love it, uncooked bones are good for his teefs

    Haha. That’s funny.
Nope, no indicators. I’m not allergic to anything that I know of but I do easily break out in hives sometimes from itching so I take an allergy med daily for it.

Those damn pens are expensive! I had to get one after testing off the charts on dust mites about 10yrs ago. I found out about the allergy blowing out a computer case and was uncontrollably sneezing for 3-4 days.

I stopped bothering with renewing the pens which expire after a year or two or something because it appears I'd need to mainline inject dust mites for major anaphylactic response. And speaking of, what the hell caused yours? What'd you do in the few hours prior?

As an engineer by career, I resent that. Only the shitty ones fall into that category. Mind you, I've met plenty over the years, 95%+ of the time it's the ones who have zero common sense and no ability to think about the real-world environment or application of what they're creating. But generally speaking, no engineer wants to make a pile of shit. Ideal situation is to design for robustness unless it's a one-time throwaway or POC.

Well after insurance I had to pay $10 which gives me two pens good for 1 year. So $10/year isn’t bad at all. In the hours prior to that I was sleeping. Went to bed at 11pm and woke up about 215am. Ate nothing out of the ordinary and I even looked for a spider bite or something but was unsuccessful.

I work part time. We also don’t live together. I work in a busy vet clinic that barely gives us breaks. I would have helped if he would have waited until this weekend when I saw him again.

My father is the opposite. He either does it himself and won't tell you anything (other than to get him a beer) or if you attempt to do it yourself, he'll just tell you you screwed it up.

I got pretty lucky with @Tundra2 he lets me help him and he shows me what to do. However, he doesn’t like to bother people either. I didn’t know he was even working on the Chevy today.

So, there's two sides to that, one can be really awesome, the other really shitty.

My Dad enjoyed telling people what to do, but not in the fashion I infer from your statement. Dad had a simple ruleset when things went wrong:
    • We can't afford to pay anyone else to do it (and we legit really couldn't)
    • He'll explain to you how everything works, then you get to guess which part failed based on what is or isn't happening
    • If you guess correctly, he'll pay for the part then explain how to install while you bang your knuckles
    • If you guess wrong, you get to save up and pay for the part, then he'll explain how to install while you bang your knuckles
I learned and continue to learn so much from that man getting a kick out of telling you what to do, knowing you were gonna learn something from it, and to this day, I only pay for professionals to do work if I don't have the time or energy because rarely do I not have the know-how.

I will say, as an adult now, he's definitely more willing to get his hands dirty with me if he believes I already understand how it works and how to fix it.

Again - probably not the same type of Dad in my case, but part of me is grateful mine liked to tell people how to do it rather than do it himself and have them learn nothing.

I can’t say much on the subject because I don’t know him well. However, my understanding is that the truck has been sitting since February. His dad says he will work on it but never has. Therefore @Tundra2 was put in the position to either work on the truck to get his tent back or wait for his dad.

This could be fake news. We'll need a pic with today's newspaper and you holding a note that says Not Tundra2s cousin.
