It was good! They grilled the slice of onion just long enough to have slight caramelization on the outside, and it had crispy bacon. I'm still feeling stuffed over an hour later.

So the city of Inglewood means crotch-wood?

Well after being woke up last night at 2am by my body going into anaphylaxis I broke out in hives and my blood pressure dropped. My arms, legs and torso started to tingle and swell, then my lips and tongue did the same and swallowing became hard to do so I took an ambulance ride to the ER. I now have a ‘hidden disability’ as airport TSA calls it and carry an EpiPen but at least I’m alive.

So quick update for all those that were curious. I worked on this machine by myself continuously from 6pm to 1am. Turns out engineering added a Keyence camera to take the place of three proximity sensors. They uploaded a new program for the camera to the PLC, but hadn't saved it to the hard drive yet. They only saved it in the short term memory.

The problem I was working on required a power reset when the repair was made to clear the fault on the HMI. So when I cycled the power the machine lost ALL of its new programming.

    Whoopsy Daisy!
Maybe next time you'll send a fuckin email that says "Hey, and by the way... don't turn off the power."

@Sirfive hit the nail on the head. "An engineer will crawl over a field of virgins just to fuck one technician."

So that machine makes parts for Honda who is ordering double quantities of their usual number. Guess who just made everyone work Saturday... Me.

Shut the power off when they’re about 15 minutes after they’re done reprogramming. See if they learned their lesson.

And so the chevy project resumes in lieu of the camshaft sensor for the RCLB.
