Better to start at 5am and end by noon before the garage heats up on its own. Even a small ac will keep it cooler for a longer period if you don’t open the garage door much.

Either that or pickup a giant floor fan and work directly in front of it to help keep it cool.

Leave the door to the house open, then the AC will flow in:)

Found an auto dim rear view from a sequoia on eBay. Put an offer on it, we’ll see what happens

Mines from a 2012 Avalon. Any will work. Wiring is simple. 3 wires for a home link mirror, 2 for the non homelink

Man what’s crazy about these mirrors is the auto dim only oem is like $200 or you can get the home link with the compass for like $130 :bananadead:

I’m gonna try and end up with auto dim only since the trucks wired for it already. Would just be plug and play. Then again if I find a deal on the compass I could just tap the overhead console display that runs out to the sensor right:monocle:?

Was laying on the couch taking a break from life. Heard a weird scratching sound on the patio, Tuco heard it too and started barking.

I got up to check it out, it was the turtle clawing at my screen door. He saw me and cut left, full sprint to the grass where he hung a right and headed for the jungle. I would say he walked 25 feet in 2 minutes. First time I have seen him comfortably strolling around. He must be getting to know his yard.

My mom has to put up road blocks at the garage door or else he will go and hide in there. You guys will learn each other’s routines pretty quick.

I still haven’t posted something about/for tuco, I might save it for TS

His name is Trouble. He earned it when the guy I got him from built a wood enclosure only to find the staples had been ripped out and chicken wire pushed aside. I also caught him chewing on my stucco.

Replaced my fire alarm today after it died. The new ones now talk to you in 3 languages. Why is this necessary?

It's been over 115* for the past several weeks and our ACs have mostly broken.

It's fine, I'm fine, everything is fine :bananadead:

On a positive note there's a TC LT kit that should be meeting me when I finally get home.

I forsee 3 sweaty dudes standing around in their unders, splashing Gatorade on each other. Either that or they all die of heat stroke.

Ah, the joys of living in the trailerhood. It was mid 90s on Sunday and I have my ac set to 68. It started running at noon, and didnt stop till 11 pm. It reached a high of 76.5 inside, yet the tstat read 71. I hate this house.

Dude took my offer of $60 on that sequoia mirror. If it does come with a cover for the wiring, I’ll be in about $70 for this little project

This may be closer to the truth than I want to admit. The last time we worked on John's truck I ended up covered in ATF so I took my shirt off and he gave me a bunch of shit about it.

He does have very feminine hands, and Purdy lips.

He might be in more trouble than he's bargaining on
