Since you probably don't NEED the ambers for ditch lighting, considering you have more lumens coming out of your truck than a small city; what about using the side ambers strictly for turn signals?
That would look good and be pretty unique.

Jealous of your wrenching time. :fistbump:

Ambers for extra blinkers and whites for lights? I like it. When im cruising in the slow lane and someone comes up and speed matches me, i like to hit the blinker to move em along. But i mainly drive at night.
Are ditch lights or side shooters the name of lights mounted to mirrors or hood hinges?

They are pretty dim Ambers. I was expecting more to be honest. Thought experiments say that they'd be easily seen in the daylight if you were looking in that general direction. Out of the corner of your eye, probably not seen.

I'll have to figure out the wiring, which one of the 3 wires does what on the truck turns, etc. Not as much wrenching time as I like. Lol kinda hastily getting shit done which I don't like.

Same on blinker for douche lords. Ditch lights is not the brand name of the lights. As far as I know ditch lights are any lights that point towards the ditch. 98% of the time they are seen on the corners of the hood.

Mounted to the hood hinge. I have Rago fabs ditch light brackets. If I'd thought about it when I was doing these I'd have probably used more magnets like I did on the virus.

My ambers are warning. Meaning you (other driver) have less than 5 seconds to shut your brights off before i rock your world.

You owe me a swig of beer. I know an amber.

Also, sometime today was my 1000th post. I know they’re 90% bs, but that still means i’m at 100% helpful 10 times, so thanks.

I’m married to an amber :bananadead:

I say wire em up to the turn signals be a pretty cool and different setup. :curls:

On a side note, y’all think putting rock lights on the frame/body with 3m tape is a bad idea? My wife’s wanting me to fix her some entrance lights on the sequoia. Other option is self tapping screws.

All this talk of amber, y’all ever heard of ambergris? There was a episode of bobs burgers that featured it……

Also I need a nap. Helped the horse farm up the road put hay in the barn before the rain this afternoon.

Been about 25 years since I threw a bale of hay, it's still not fun.

Haha. Great minds think alike. Wish I could have finished this but long story short I ordered the wrong seal kit. I did get my replacement brake rotor on since I bent the other one last weekend.

Did an 06 limited come with the auto dim mirror and if did what are the chances the wiring is already there? Forgot how much I missed it after driving the wife’s sequoia All weekend. Also had a Tacoma with it

I’m not trying to be a smart ass but I spent almost 10 years in the car audio/convenience/security industry. Basically dealing with wiring day in and day out.

You send me a remote start on a GM truck that’s an LT trim? I’m never scared to give dead ass $ quote. It’s identical whether it be a Tahoe, Yukon, Silverado or Sierra.

You send me a Toyota? Ehh, is it a G key? Does it have a rear dvd? Is it base JBL or JBL premium? Is the parking light wire green or is it green/red on this truck?

My point is, maybe there is some method to the Toyota wiring shenanigans, maybe there isn’t. Either way, my pattern based brain couldn’t decipher it.

Some SR5s are wired for heated seats. I know for a billion dollar fact that mine isn’t.
