    @Outbound

    If I have time tonight, I'll post a story on the campfire thread for you.

    Been on that work treadmill. 2 guys about to find other employment, and one guy with one foot out the door. I see 12s in my future.

    I dunno man, I worked in Lexington for a while. I'm from TX but damn that southern accent was amazing. And we were working in the Dillard's directly across from the Victoria's secret. We didn't get much work done....

    Jim Croce on the radio, 5 Pacificos down, carne asada on the grill, enjoying the yard. Life isn't bad right now. After this summer I'll put sprinklers in and grow grass.

    Thanks! For now I have to. There are sprinklers back here but they were badly planned if at all. I'll be running new sprinklers and a drip line setup here soon. For now I either water in the evenings or at 6am. Most of this stuff is fine to water every other day but my bloodleaf, begonias, and any bananas under 2 feet tall need water daily in the Summer.

    Give me miiiiiiiine!

    Unsure which way I want to go on this. Finally broke down, and bought a set of amber side shooters @NWPirate

    20210724_054236.jpg
    20210724_054255.jpg

    The original idea behind me getting side shooters was to Tie the Ambers into the turn signal for additional turn signaling, and I thought that'd be cool because I've never heard of, or seen it done before.

    I kinda like the amber, but am thinking it would throw off the white light sun beams emanating from the front end of the truck.

    Any thoughts welcome, or suggestions.

    @Tundra2 What is that? A cicada? I’m not a bug guy so I can’t tell.

    The only time those things bug me is when they fall on you while laying out tanning. Happened to me a couple times in the pool as a teenager.

    Does working both days exclusively for toy money count? If so, yes. If not, no, just a slave to the grind.

    I hear ya. I haven't had a day off since the 4th of July and I don't foresee taking one for probably 3 more weeks. I make hay while the sun shines. To be fair, my job isn't labor-intensive though, so it's pretty easy money.
