    Side note: y'all ever look at your truck under a blacklight? Very interesting. Pictures don't do it justice as far as weird sheens, and colors on plastics, etc.

    @Sunnier should redo the interior lights to be purple for homage to hulk. If my interior LEDs ever die, I'd go back with blurple

    You and the dove related? (The tent is always the better option considering the access cab but dating small people helps too:rofl:)

    Use a multimeter, if you know how. Or you could do like I probably would:
    turn on the truck;
    turn on a blinker;
    remove fuses (under the dash, drivers side, near the interior hood release latch) one by one til the blinker stops working = that’s the fuse;
    look closely to see what wires connect to that fuse;
    use multimeter without prior instruction to verify (Youtube knows everything).

    Oh - oh, I know the fix for the seats not reclining - don't go to the dealer.
    (ancient D/C/P rant) Took the Chrysler in to the dealer to fix some stupid broken thing under warrantee. Came back fixed but passenger seat would not recline. Reclined when it went in - WTF? Took a look inside the seat to see if it was something obvious. Brand new car, inside seat - old leaking pistons for seat back recline & release handle disconnected. Dealer had apparently fixed someone else's broken seat with our new pistons, put their old pistons in our car, but rushing the side-work didn't reconnect the seat release.) (Later on that dealership 'blew up' early one morning, paralyzing one of the salesmen who'd come in super early. Found to be intentional, they wanted insurance to build them a new dealership) YMMV

    I had to skip a couple paragraphs. Were we talking about birds?
    I changed the covers on my gutters to get the birds to stop building nests in the end of the gutters. they moved to the porch ceiling.
    I screened the porch to keep the birds out.
    I cut down a bunch of trees so the birds would stop pooping on the vehicles.
    damn pests are expensive to not have.

    i seem to have over occupancy issues in the hedge now.

    and the lines prevent you from planting much there. Maybe some hedges or something. I never understood neighbors that want to look across property lines instead of a nice green tree.

    Didja see the rv a/c on the hood of the furd? I could strap that down in the bed, and duct cold air to a couple tents.

    Alright, lads. I'm back from WV. It took me some time to get caught up.

    Oddly enough, it was barely audible...and even so, was only audible right before coming to a stop. Very strange.

    Agreed.
    It's ~500 miles each way. We got to detour through Louisville, KY on the way home to pick up some rimz for a friend. Maybe 1100 miles total.

    Copper Harbor is lauded as some of the best riding in the UP.

    Can confirm heavy rainfall in Smokies.
    [IMG]
    We got a little misty and the trails got slick, but when we got to the lift, there was no shelter from the torrents of rain. Those shorts are still wet.

    And meth and other bathtub drugs. Don't sell us short.

    Sheet, I stop the truck and 911 for a terrapin in the road. If people don't like it, they are welcome to hop out and help.

    Never my truck, but I have a tattoo with UV-reactive ink.

    Good lort. The shortest lady I ever dated was ~5'3" and she was pocket-sized. (I'm 6'1" 235)

    Every so often, a few seconds after I start my truck, I get a rattle noise that lasts for maybe 1-2 seconds. Anyone else experience this? Is anyone still running their original timing belt tensioner? I found the previous owner had mine replaced under warranty in 2008. They also replaced the AC bracket which is odd.

    One of the heatshields on the sequoias exhaust broke a weld and would buzz on a cold start. One of those worm drive clamps fixed it.

    That's a possibility. It's done this a few years now but I've never been able to figure it out. If definitely sounds different than normal engine noises you hear during cold start. It will do it when warm out too.
