I am not sure, there is a clicking notch mechanism on one side, a bit afraid it might get stuck in there. Now I'm wondering if the headrests from the back seat would fit. I think they are more vertical.

Yup, thats why I don't like to drive that way. Same reason VW beetle seats started going "high back" style with headrests in '68 for safety. Prior to that the seat stopped at the shoulder.

Maybe solved! The bastards at Toyot put notches on opposite bar when comparing front seat to rear seat, but I am able to use the rear headrest on the front seat. I'd still prefer it flat but this is improved.

I can't believe that doesn't bother anybody else.

I keep my seat upright for proper posture purposes. That way I don’t need to be concerned about tilting it forward much at all. Something you only learn about why when you have TMJ issues.

My seat back gets moved forward or backward when I'm driving, depends how I feel. When I have it more upright the headrest is even worse to me, I end up hunched over.

I’ll have to pay more attention, I didn’t notice it tilted forward until you pointed it out.

The way mine tilts forward it’s only an inch from touching the back of my head. The lower lumbar support keeps my back far enough forward that my upper body is not in contact with the upper part of the seat.

The penultimate package from them arrived today and I’m getting itchy to get stuff installed.

    Double-post because Friday.
What say you all about the ‘need’ for extended brake lines with a 2” lift?

I think my oem brake line length would have been fine. I only replaced them because I was there, and age of the rubber hose.

Not needed. Even with extended travel upper arms and coilovers there was no tug on my stock brake lines at full droop/turned wheel.

Hey guys. I got a trailer for free last weekend that I am restoring. Tires bigger than on my truck lol. I have removed all the wood and seized nuts and bolts. Curious if I need to do anything about the 1 million drilled holes in the frame? They’re literally everywhere.
I will be removing all rust and re painting then rebuilding with new wood. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Does that axle have steering linkage? Or a sway bar?

Steering linkage on one side. Yes, sway bar.
    Linkage isn’t necessary right? LOL

    Can you insert it backwards?
I'm wondering if your headrest squab was installed onto the feet backwards at the factory.
'cause I don't think that's really an issue in general with these trucks.

Man, I was working with the boss all day yesterday building a service and setting a new pole that snapped. We did 8 hours straight in 95° heat. I was worn the fuck out. Then I got drunk and played minecraft all night.

When I first worked for my company back in 1997, I got paid the equivalent of $21.50/hr to play video games at work…

only because I did my work in the first 2 hours of the day and had to be on call for the rest. Fridays I went to the driving range down the street with a pager in tow.

    Good times. :D
