That oil pressure gauge is not supposed to be there while cruising right?

It's possible and very common on many vehicles. I would recommend getting a mechanical gauge or borrowing one and verifying your actual oil pressure before throwing parts and $$$ at the issue. If a mechanical gauge verifies your oil pressure is within spec then your issue is somewhere downstream (i.e. oil pressure sending unit or faulty gauge). Probably oil pressure sending unit. Verify first. And if it turns out to be the sending unit I would strongly encourage you to go oem part. Aftermarket ones are notoriously cheap and don't last long and you're right back where you started.

Exactly, that’s what I dig about it. I’m building a rack of some sort for the camper so I’m eye balling all kinds of stuff

Same here. I've had at least half a dozen vehicles over the years that do it. The gauges in these aren't precision instruments. I've even had a couple oil pressure sending units that simply had corrosion on the electrical contacts that I cleaned up with emory cloth and reamed out the hole filled with semi-hardened oil with a pipe cleaner and brought them back to life.

This Gobi evokes a bit of an RV roof access / sundeck sort of feel. Mounts below the fiberglass & the 'legs' serve as roof access ladder. Subtle is good, but sometimes purposeful is discreet too. ...and who doesn't want a sundeck?

I need a favor from someone willing to suck, and blow.

Remove your vacuum tube from the engine to the brake booster. Tell me which way the check valve works. I made a boo-boo when I replaced that line, and forgot to check.

I tracked down a check valve to install, but I'm not 100% sure which way it's supposed to be.

Based on thought experiments, I think air should flow from the engine side to the booster side. NOT flow from the booster to the engine side. (Maybe I've got that backwards...)

Just asking someone to double check..the only reason I thought to check this was when I was replacing dad's trucks vacuum lines.

    I'll be eternally grateful.

There was a group of newer tacos hanging out in a parking lot, younger males, all of them almost broke their neck trying to look at the truck they wished theirs was as I drove by. Haha it was great

worked so good i had to make sure it wasnt beer goggles.

    these are 20lbs ea.
My sundolphin aruba 10 is 40lbs.
My old town angler 10 is 60 lbs.

I know what id prefer to carry up and down the steps.

my angler, because it sits a little lower in the water and you have more control.
These arent bad, if theres too much air in the bottom bag they’re a little wobbly, and i dont completely trust the skeg. Seems like it’ll get knocked off easy. But a soild 7/10.

    13235467_10154110986580275_5616811723835_1ca0352748e456437c9411f3fc25dd5d22fd6cad.jpg

its possible to get it back in the bag, but id rather have a longer bag it wouldnt have to fold as much. And could break the oar in half, instead of quarters. It didnt plane like the plastic ones, and heading up current was quicker to try to turn you around. Also, too much air in the bottom makes it unstable. Needs a plastic nose tip and bottom.

    The SHOs require fuel.

My 91 and gf's 15. We met up to grab lunch and both needed gas.

On the way home mine started overheating and my oil light went on and off a few times. Sigh.

I'll never understand the love for an SHO. Had a work friend who was a fanatic himself. My guess is he probably still owns his 1995 model.

Must be one of those things you don't understand until you drive one.

Or like a scat pack Charger. You could buy one as a "family car" even though it was really a hot rod. Of sorts.

It's kind of hard to give it a serious look myself because I always think of a taurus wagon which nobody wanted to ride in back at that time.
