No, but it's just a conglomeration of wrenchers because they don't have any choice. Most are too poor to afford a newer vehicle unless it's a buy here pay here, or rebuilt. (Post 2010 vehicles)

Allow me to explain Cleaton. You don't go there after dark unless you have someone from cleaton with you to vouch for you. Rough.

“In 2018, Cleaton, KY had a population of 159 people with a median age of 53.7 and a median household income of $12,885.”

    No thank you!

Work had me install one of these new fangled arm mirrors. Pretty nicely.

    Have a fun trip!

I went to the beach after work yesterday. Rest of the weekend is probably yard work and cleaning out the Tundy's interior.

Question about breaking in new gears. If you have 4wd, should you be driving in 4wd so the front diff breaks in as well?

One of my neighbors, a young kid, recently bought a bit of a pre runner Ranger. The rear has a bed cage, floor mostly cut out and around 16" of travel it looks like. Up front im not sure what he has but looks like aftermarket upper arms and stock lowers. Fiber glass all around, flat black and a lot of stupid stickers.

I never got a close look at it but last night he parked across from my house. While packing my truck I noticed some crap dangling from his frame.

I’m guessing he bought that as an off-road beater. That’s the kind of vehicle an employer would make you park it around the back of the building to not scare off the customers.

Front license plate on dash? Check.
    Mismatched tires? Check.
    Funky wiring? Check.

Classic danger ranger. Rip through the whoops until you lose a u-joint. How long until he gets a DUI?

Absolutely. Only do it on straights and keep to 55mph max and ~20 min intervals. Did your gears come with break in directions?

Thanks. I didn’t see any instructions in the boxes they came in but the shop that installed them told me to drive for 20mins and let rest for atleast 1 hr 3 times. The guy told me not to “do anything crazy” which I thought meant don’t go off-road or something similar. I kinda gunned it a few times on my drive home and went over 55mph for a while.

I came across break in instructions this morning while trying to find an answer to breaking in the front diff. Let’s just say I’m not having the best Saturday so far worrying about potentially ruining the gears because of how I drove her home yesterday. I only punched it 3-4 times or so. This morning’s drive was fairly smooth so hoping all is well.

Thanks, that makes me feel a little better. I am blown away at how quickly and effortlessly she gets to 40mph. I’m talking pedal being pushed .25 to half an inch down and going over the speed limit. I have to take my foot off the pedal often to keep the speed down

That’s basically what the long tubes did for me, I feel like
I’m barely touching the pedal but I’m doing 40 before I know it. I just coast out of my hood, let the neighbors sleep a little longer and let the truck warm up

Nicely. Been busy and haven’t read what brand or total cost on your gears labor.
