Wow. Just wow. I read that article and lost about 40 IQ points. I had to stop when the said the workers from out of state posed a threat to indigenous women. What a load of shit.

Not really Tundra related...but this is General discussion and it IS truck related....the new Ford Maverick.

As far as new trucks go, I kinda like it's squared off look (not crazy about the headlights, but whatever) that reminds be of older pickups. The thing that has me excited is also something I appreciate about FGTs, the size. It's essentially the same size as the 1st Gen Tacoma (199 inches long, compared to 202 inches for 1st Gen Tacoma), which I think was the perfect sized small truck (for a non-family man). It's a hybrid which is a plus but they are not going to offer 4WD (at least not initially). I'm rooting for it, not so much because I would buy one (I wouldn't completely rule it out), but because I'd like to see Toyota make a competitor... :) Of course, I'd want the Toyota with an AC and a 6 foot bed.

Ya - I'm curious too. Looking for parts for my F250 and every parts truck is listed as 'no cats - don't even ask'. How much are these worth as scrap to just junk the truck?

So say one lives in an area with no smog and no visual inspections. That person could cut out there own cats and throw a test pipe in and sell the cats. Hmmm....

Is that part of the kit that comes with the tin foil hat and butt plug to prevent anal probing?

According to the research, this should take care of the bottom 5% of lower intelligence crowd. Thanks Darwin!

Better to hold in case you want the best price by selling to someone who wants a rust free truck and lives in a smog inspection state.

The current death rate is 0.021 world wide. We also cured the flu. It will take a while to get to 5% at that rate.

Ive got a nit to pick. On my sequoia, when starting, i just bump the key, and it turns the engine over until it starts. The tundra requires me to hold the key turned like every other vehicle ive owned. Is the ecu controlling this on the sequoia, or a setting? It doesnt matter, just pondering.

    This is a feature of 05/06 Tundra's as well...I don't think it's a setting, I think it's the ECU.

I guess those of us with a proper amount of wrist strength can just hold the key.
